All Out War

Nick could be seen on his knees feeling the ground. He eventually stumbled across several foot prints which began leading into the woods nearby. "We'll follow these tracks! Stay behind me or your getting left." Nick yelled as the group began following him. A couple hours of walking passed and the sun began going down. "Look at that house." Nick said as he pointed to a little old blue house. "We can use it to hold up for the night." He then explained as the group began walking towards the house. They eventually reached the house to find Gabriel standing outside. "Its clear inside." He said as the group began walking inside. "Mason and Joe will start first watch." Nick said as he sat his gear down and began to rest . A couple minutes later and everyone is asleep but Mason and Joe. "Hey can I ask you something?" Mason asked as he looked concerned. "What's up?" Joe asked as he began opening up a pack of crackers. "You think things will go back to the way they were? I mean like Before all this." Mason asked as he fought his drowsiness. "Mayb..." Joe said as he was quickly cut off by Nick who jolted out of his sleep. "Something doesn't feel right!" Nick yelled as he finally sprung up, his eyes more alert then ever. A sharp scream could be heard followed by a man's voice. "Come out of the house assholes or we'll open fire, you got 10 seconds to come out here or ill personally kill this lad out here myself !" The man yell this time aiming his pistol at Charlie. "10" he yelled again this time smirking. "lets just kill them." said Joe as he began to load his pistol. "9"the voice called getting louder. "we cant, we're outnumbered." Mason said as he began to tremble. "8" The voice said as a gun shot was fired in the air. "Can we negotiate with them?" Mason asked as he looked at Nick who stood frozen. "I don't think so." Gabriel said as the group all began  breathing heavily. "7" The voice shouted. "They're all gonna die i swear to god." Nick mumbled aloud as he gripped his knife. "6! times ticking assholes!" The man said as he stood in the yard getting impatient. "5" "Shit he's at 5 guys." Mason said as fear took over. "Even though we can't see you we have eyes on you right now let's see how many of you are in there, Hey Jameson tell me how many heat signatures we have in there?" The voice screamed into a radio as the group confusedly looked at each other. "4 signatures spotted!" another voice replied through the radio. "Look, lets just go out there and surrender maybe they just wanna talk." Mason said still shaking."4!" The voice yelled as tension filled the air. "Your right." Nick said while still nervously griping his knife. "3!" The voice screamed louder. "Everything's gonna be alright Guys." Gabriel said as he followed behind nick who walked  towards the front door of the house. "2!" The voice screamed which echoed through the woods behind the house. "Ok we're coming out dont shoot!" Nick yelled as he swung open the door and slowly walked out towards the man who had charlie on his knees in front of him. They continued walking towards him with there hands up. "Step up!" A voice shouted as the group steped up to a line drawn in the dirt. A group of men aimed their guns at the group. "Stop right there thats far enough." The guy said as he sent his men to take the group's weapons. Nick began eyeballing the man until they locked eyes. "The hell are you looking at boy!" The man yelled as he looked nick in his eyes. "Someone who's wasting my time." Nick said with an intense stare. The man then uppercuted Nick in the stomach. "Didn't your parents teach you about respecting adults?" The man said as he smirked enjoying the pain his victim was suffering. "Dont talk about my family you dick!" Nick yelled as he got up off the ground and right hooked the man in the face. His men then pinned Nick on the ground and start beating on him. "Now back to what i was saying,I'm Keith and i work for a nice man named Vick and I dont think he appreciates you looting his storage building and stealing his rv and getting the place swarmed with walkers! Ohhh,and your little friend had a little shoot off with my men and killed some of them before escaping now its my turn to take one of your guys!" Keith said as he aimed a pistol at Charlie's head and pulled the trigger causing everyone to watch as his head exploded and his lifeless body hit the ground. "Nooooooo!" Gabriel yelled as he started shedding tears. Keith laughed as he looked around at the group. "You know what? Take another one Jameson!" Keith yelled through the radio as a shot was fired this Time hitting one of his men. "Jameson what the hell! That was a friendly!" Keith screamed as radio static could be heard blaring until a voice came through. "I guess Your boy's aim is terrible Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Shauna and if you lay one more hand on anymore of my friends I'll pull this trigger and you'll be hauling two bodies instead of that one laying there." a voice came through the radio as Shauna could be seen holding a rifle aiming at Keith and his men. "You think your saving these people? Who's to say I don't have more men waiting further back in those woods? Why don't you come out and surrender and make it easier on yourself? For a lady you got a ton of balls! Vickery likes that,Why don't you come.." Keith yelled as he was cut off by one of his men who quickly noticed Joe had disappeared. "Where's the other boy that was standing next to you?!" He screamed as he quickly grabbed Gabriel putting a knife to his throat. "I didn't see him slip off I promise sir!" Gabriel yelled as he began to panic. "Let them go before I blow your goddamn head off!" A voice yelled as Chloe stood behind Keith and his men holding a pistol. "He turned around still holding Gabriel hostage. "Well look what we have here boys! Seems the ladies in Their group wear the pants! Look little lady I can tell you don't belong here why don't you scurry off to wherever you came from before this doesn't end well!" Keith yelled as he pushed the knife deeper into Gabriel causing him to tear up. "Sir please stop! She's not apart of this i promise! Please don't hur..." Mason yelled out as Keith cut him off. "Shut up the adults are talking! So little girl why don't you put it down before you get someone hurt!" Keith yelled as he smirked and his men began to all laugh. Chloe's hands began to shake as she looked over at Charlie's body and then back on Keith before one of the men crept behind quickly grabbing her forcing the pistol to drop. "Please sir we get it! Mason said as Keith smirked. "Before we take our leave let me leave you with something before we go, you now provide for Vickery and no one else! If you don't then well. "Keith yelled as he quickly stabbed Gabriel in the stomach throwing his body to the ground. "Untill next t.." he yelled as a bullet scraped through his face just barely hitting him. "Shooter secured" a voice on the radio yelled as Shauna could be seen being held to the ground. "We'll be back for our supplies tomorrow, You better have it or both the young ladies get it!" Keith said calmly as he and his men got into their trucks and one threw a note out the window saying "Now that we finally came to an agreement we've left you a piece offering across the lake in the shack near the dark black tree." The group then rushed across the dark dirty lake water leaving gabe who was laying on top of Charlie's body crying. They eventually get to the shack where Joe is now waiting. "Where the hell did you go? Nick said to himself as he gave Joe  a suspicious look. there was a note with a key attached that said. "Enjoy the show." Nick looked back at his friends. "Get ready for anything." Nick said as he slowly opened the door. There was blood everywhere.. and the smell was putrid. "Joe and Mason go see what's upstairs!" Nick yelled as the two nodded and ran towards the stairs. "This is my fault had I not been so tough on her she wouldn't have ran off!" Mason said as Joe looked over sadly at him. "We'll get Her and Shauna back I promise but right now we need to find out what their hiding." Joe explained as he smiled at mason while the pair walked up the old squeaky steps eventually reaching the top to see an old wooden door with a puddle of blood seeping under it. "Lets go!" Joe yelled as he kicked in the door and to their horror they walked in to see their old friend Jordan in a pool of blood, trembling as he was chained up with sharp rusty hooks going in his skin. "Lets get him down!" Mason yelled as the two began removing the hooks from his back. Jordan began groaning in pain as he felt his friends manage to get the hookd out of his back. "Alright help me get him downstairs!" Joe demanded as they both carried him down the stairs to the others who were still investigating the downstairs rooms. The other members see Jordan and began running over. "Keith is Angelina's dad you need to get her far from him." Jordan said weakly as he lost consciousness. "Holy shit!" Nick said loudly as the room filled with silence. "No time we have to move!" Joe shouted as he tried to push past Nick who quickly grabbed him yanking him closely. "Where did you run to Joe?" Nick asked as the group looked around. "Idk but lets get Jordan out of here before more of those guys come back." Joe said as he signalled everyone to get ready to leave. The sound of silence fill the air As the group left out the shack to see gabe had dug 2 holes. "Why are there two holes?" Mason asked. "one for Charlie (which he had already buried)and the other for myself." Gabe answered as he stumbled over still holding his wound and laid in the hole. "Someone start covering me up." Gabe said as everyone shook there heads and tried to convince him not to. "I couldn't save him." Gabe said as he pulled out a pistol from his bag and aimed it at his head. "Im gonna do it!" Gabe yelled as he wrapped his finger around the trigger. "Somebody shut him up!" Nick yelled aloud as he hit gabe over the head with a log making him fire a shot. "I would have just let him do it." Joe said with a smile as he emerged from the shadows of the woods. "Where the hell did you go?" Nick asked as he quickly walked over and got in his friend's face. "I thought If i got far away I'd be able to get help or something." Joe answered as he looked Nick in his eyes showing no fear. "Nah i think you ran to save yourself that seems to be your best skill." Nick yelled as Joe swung a punch at Nick missing in the process. Nick quickly tackled Joe to the ground easily overpowering him. "I think there's more to it! You didn't save us that day did you? you were running and so happened to came across us when that lady was attacked in the street you fucking coward." Nick whispered in his ear as Mason quickly ran over and pulled his two friends apart. "What the hells the matter with you two?! Fighting while two of our own are god knows where? We need to get back to sanctuary before things get wors..." Mason yell as the sounds of the undead filled the atmosphere. "Fine!" Joe yelled as he helped Gabriel to his feet and began helping him walk. "We'll finish this later!" Nick yelled as he smirked at Joe. Eventually the group began pushing through the woods stabbing walkers eventually reaching the car. Everyone began climbing into the car until a kid is seen running through the woods. "Shit! If I'm not back in 5 minutes leave me!" Nick yelled as he took off running through the woods leaving the rest of group confused. "Go with him! I can get everyone home." Mason demanded as Joe hesitatingly agreed and began running after Nick. "Wait kid im here to help!" Nick yelled as he continued to run after the kid; The sound of the undead moans began filling the air as Nick passed several walkers. The boy quickly turned back to look at nick before colliding into a walker who quickly turned around. "Shit!" Nick screamed as he pulled out his knife readying it. The walker sprung at the boy throwing him to the ground. "Help me!" The Boy yelled as Nick pulled the walker off in time quickly pulling the boy up and killing the walker. "Stay behind me!" Nick yelled as walkers began crowding the two. "Nick!" Joe yelled as he began making noises to draw the crowd away but was unsuccessful. "Take this! You ever use one?" Nick asked as he gave the boy one of his knives while looking around anxiously. "No." The boy said as Nick rolled his eyes and pulled the boy closer. "You'll figure it out." Nick said sarcastically as he drove his blade into incoming walkers. "Shit he's gone I'm sorry Ben." Joe said to himself as he took off running. Nick noticed Joe running and began getting frustrated causing his swings to becomes more aggressive. Nick eventually reached the end of the group pushing the last one to the ground. "Go! We'll regroup on the road! Go kid!" Nick screamed as the boy jumped over the downed walker and began running away leaving Nick to face the hoard alone. Nick then looked into the hoard to see a walker standing in the middle looking at the ground which caused him to stare at it until it suddenly looked at Nick with what looked like a smirk. "What the fuck?!" Nick yelled aloud as he turn and began running after the boy. He ran through the wood untill he reached the road where the boy and a man were seen standing in the road holding pistols. "What the hell We gotta go before they reached us who's thi..." Nick said angrily as the two aimed their guns at him. "I saved you and you fucking rob me!" He yelled as the man looked at him. He then signaled for another man who came out the bushes holding a rifle. "Throw your knife on the ground In front of you and get on your knees!" The man yelled as the other guy placed his rifle barrel into Nick's back. "Fuck you!" Nick yelled as he spit towards the boy causing the man behind nick to hit him to his knees. "I'm sorry" The boy yelled as Nick quietly looked at the ground. "Vickery said he'd pay us in food and a guarantee way into his group for punishing the group who shot and killed one of his men." The man explained as he began walking toward Nick who continued staring down. "You know we could've maybe been cool but sadly my family needs to eat." The man said as he picked up Nick's knife still walking towards him. "Look asshole if you know whats good for you then you'd get the hell out before shit goes down." Nick said under his breath as he let out a smile. "Ah we got a smart ass" the man said as the man behind Nick laughed loudly as the two began beating on a helpless Nick. "Let's keep this party started!" One of the men yelled out as he held out Nick's knife. The other man held down Nick as the other push the blade deep along Nick's eye. "Stop!" The boy yelled while trying to stop the two men as Nick's screams fill the area. "Aw looks like you have a new friend, Move!" One of the men yelled as he shoved the boy onto the ground and continued cutting Nick's eye until the loud growls of the undead began approaching through the woods. "Damn they always crash the party, let's get out of here!" He yelled as he shoved Nick's head into the ground and the two climbed into their car parked nearby. "Come on Eric!" One of the men yelled as the boy stood frozen. "I said come on!" He yelled again as the boy looked over at Nick who was still laying on the ground. "We can't just leave him it's wrong!" The boy explained while still looking at a beaten Nick. "Whatever Watch us!" the other man shouted as he slammed on the gas while letting out a loud chuckle as the car sped down the road. After a few seconds of watching the car drive away the boy quickly looked over at Nick with concern. "Nick!?" He yelled as he ran over to him. "I'm fine get off me!" Nick yelled as he pushed the kid away and struggled to his feet before falling over again. "Please let me help! Had I known that was my brother's plan I would've stopped him earlier." The boy said as he got a good look at Nick's eye which was leaking. "You have no choice come on!" He yelled as he quickly helped Nick to his feet. "Why didn't you go with them you would've been safer?" Nick asked while giving the boy a confused look. "Unlikely." The boy said calmly as he helped Nick walk along the road. "My name's Eric." The boy said as he smiled. "Don't care." Nick said as he continued to struggle. A couple minutes passed and the two are seen still walking. "I think their gone." Eric said as he looked behind them to see an empty road. "Thanks now find your way back from here don't follow me." Nick said weakly as he pushed the boy off of him and began limping down the road. "Please don't leave me!" Eric yelled as Nick continued limping away. "I don't want to be alone." He said again as Nick froze in place as he looked at the cracked road before letting a sigh out. "You fall behind and im leaving you! Got that!?" Nick said aggressively as Eric smiled and followed him as the two continued walking. After a few minutes of walking Eric began breathing heavily. "The hell's wrong with you?" Nick asked as the boy suddenly stop and was seen staring off at something. "No.." Eric said as he began running down the road. Nick began limping quickly after him as he looked over into the woods to see a figure waving at him menacingly as it let out a smile. "Eric something's not right about this we need to be.." Nick shouted as he eventually caught up to Eric to see the boy kneeling in front of a flipped car. Nick looked to see the two men who were just beating on him a few minutes ago zombified still in their seatbelts. "Shit I'm sorry kid.." Nick said calmly as he looked at the car which the tires seem to be popped. "It's fine,my brother was a dick.. i just wish he never listened to that asshole Vickery! That man came to our camp and took all our supplies and forced us to work under him just to feed ourselves..He took our women and forces us to go torture other communities! I just want him dead now, all of them!" Eric yelled as nick limped over and placed his hand on Eric's shoulder and looked at the two men. "Karma's a bitch and Vickery has it coming to him i promise you." Nick said as he noticed a note on the car which read "We know!". Nick then looked over at Eric with concern. "Let's get the fuck out of here." Nick demanded as Eric looked concernly at his undead brother. "We don't bury assholes" He said as he began walking down the road. Eric then turned to see his brother reaching out to him as he turned around and began following Nick down the road.
