Chapter 40 [End]

I woke up on the first day of the new year, still in Taehyung's arms. He was still fast asleep and I slowly pulled away from him and got up from the couch, heading to the kitchen.

It was 8 early in the morning and I was hungry, so I decided to make some breakfast for myself. I looked into the fridge and saw some eggs. Omelettes it is then, again.

I took out the eggs and set them aside. I went to wash my hands when suddenly I felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist.

"Taehyung?" I said and got no reply, but he backhugged me tighter. I smiled, "Good morning."

"Goodnight," he whispered in my ear and placed his head at the crook of my neck, pretending to sleep.

I giggled and sprinkled water in his face, "Yaahh, move away I can't breathe."

He turned me to face him, when suddenly he caught sight of the eggs on the kitchen counter. "Yah, you're making omelettes again?"

I smiled sheepishly, "Yes?"

He groaned and furrowed his eyebrows, "Can't we just eat something else?"

"Okay okay fine, let's wash up and eat out alright," I said, and he smiled.

After we're done washing up, I changed into Taehyung's oversized grey hoodie and one of his jeans that fitted well. We both headed out of the house and went to a nearby food stall to have breakfast.

"I'm going to my aunt's house after this," I said as I stuffed a spoonful of rice in my mouth.

"Already?" He asked, and I nodded.

"I have to prepare for school and move in my stuffs into my aunt's place," I explained.

"Araseo," he replied and we continued eating.

After breakfast, Taehyung sent me to my aunt's place. When we reached the gate, I turned to him.

"Bye pabo," he said to me. I smiled and waved goodbye to him before I went in.

I stepped into school the next morning and was greeted by vacant stares as I walked along the hallway.

"Hyejin?" Someone called me, and I turned to see Mina running towards me. "YAAAHH!!" She crashed into my arms for a big hug, and I hugged her back tightly.

She slowly released me and looked at me, smiling brightly, "You're gonna be schooling here once again now? Jinja?"

I giggled and nodded, "Yep, I'll be staying in Korea once again."

"DAEBAK!" She said and wrapped her arms around mine, "LETS GO TO CLASS!"

I was dragged away to class with her and realised we're in the same class together for the year again. We found a vacant seat and sat down. I looked around the class to see who'll be in my class for the year.

"Do you know which class is Seojun in?" I asked Mina.

"Ah, you don't know? He was thrown out of school because the school found out he made some girl pregnant," Mina said.

My eyes widened. "Yah, jinja?" I asked in disbelief and she nodded. I was glad that Taehyung helped me reveal Seojun's true colours before it was too late. I'm glad that I already left him long time ago.

Suddenly, a teacher walked into the class and everyone stood up to greet.

"Hey everyone, I'm your homeroom teacher and my name is Mrs Lee..."

She did some briefing and shifting of seats for us, and she's pretty nice. She was still talking to us when suddenly someone entered the class.

"Late for school on the first day, Kim Taehyung?" Mrs Lee said and everyone turned to look at him.
