EP XIII | His Woman

"what are you both doing there?" she eyed the pair, top to bottom making you gulp and slowly drop your face down, feeling embarrassed

"Come out, now" she stated making Jungkook turn around as he had his back facing his mother before

"ow-" Jungkook for a sec forgot that your necklace was still stuck with his button which is why he hurriedly turned around making you let out a small whimper, feeling the jerk against your nape

"Sorry-" he then carefully walked out in the light with you "what is happening here?" his mom again repeated her questions making Jungkook scratch the back of his neck before attempting to explain "actually mom, we had bumped into each other and then her necklace got stuck with my shirts button" the entire time he wasn't able to match his eyes with her

"But why were you both standing there?" She once again asked making you take a sneaky glance at Jungkook from the corner of your eyes "i-it's just that.. uhm, I-" hearing him stuttering and not being able to form words to explain, Mrs. Jeon sighed and shook her head

Jungkook also shut his lips tight being embarrassed "let me see" she moved forward and tried to separate the two things, which she was successful to do so after a minute or so

"thank you.." Jungkook mumbled while Mrs. Jeon backed away and eyed you from up and down. Feeling her eyes, you moved aside from jungkook's side "who's she?" Jungkook looked at you before looking at his mother again "she's my new secretary, mom. It's been three months since she's here" he introduced you

"good morning, ma'am" you bowed, showing respect towards your boss's mother making her nod in return

"Mom, why don't we go inside my office?" Jungkook suggested as she moved her gaze from you to him "sure" she then turned her heels and walked inside his office

"oh, god" you held your chest, heaving out a long sigh of relief. you opened your eyes again to see Jungkook looking at you. You swear you could just shoot him death glares and shout at him. but unfortunately, you could not

"that was hella awkward" you mumbled "what was the point of you dragging me there?" you asked "I don't know, I just didn't wanna be seen in this state in front of mom" "but it still happened, didn't it? and also more awkwardly" you mumbled the last part under your breath making Jungkook give an 'are you serious?' look

"I tried" he then also made his way inside his cabin while you walked to the cafeteria to make your boss and his mother coffee

"What's up with him? It seems like he just changes moods like in every hour. jerk" you cursed at him to yourself while pouring the liquid in the cups

"Cursing at your boss, I see" that sudden voice made you flinch as you thought you were alone in the kitchen area "what the- you scared me" you breathed out, trying to calm yourself down

"I just came here to get my sandwich, jeez" Jimin then made his way towards the fridge "whatever" you rolled your eyes, taking the hold of the tray, you were about to make your way out when Jimin called you back

"How much sugar did you put?" you looked back "and why should I tell you that?" you asked back, putting on a lip tight smile while fluttering your eyelids at him "do you wanna make a good impression of yourself in front of Mrs. Jeon or no?" His question made you think about it for a second before he spoke again, breaking your bubble

"That's what I thought, now tell me" "1 spoon?" you replied looking at Jimin shake his head "Mrs. Jeon likes her coffee sweet, so 2 and a half spoon will do the work" Jimin suggested as you kept the tray back down on the counter

"But how can I trust you?" you looked at him with your eyebrows raised "how can I be sure that you're not trying to make me embarrassed?" You folded your arms over your chest where as Jimin took a sip of his drink "it's up to you if you don't wanna trust, you don't really need to make a good impression in front of your boss's mother" he shrugged and turned his back

"That was not the answer to my question" you huffed but jimin just smiled and later on shrugged again "I just wanted to help you as your senior" "but how do you know that?" you asked again

"Mr. Park?" You called out for him noticing that he had zoned out "h-huh? Oh, uhm.." his pupils shifted from here to there before he opened his mouth to answer "i-it's just that.. I- oh yeah.. I have been working here for many years, so I just know" he scratched the back of his neck

you tilted your neck, eyeing his figure with suspicious eyes but later shrugging it off "that's true.. but if you are planning something evil, I swear to God-" the index finger you had pulled up at him was grabbed by his grasp. A gasp left your mouth as you tripped in front a bit when he pulled you slightly closer

"what will you do, huh?" he raised an eye brow "y-yah-" you stepped back "y-you'll see" forming a reply, you picked up the tray again before finally making your way out to your boss's office

"Wah! The coffee's exactly perfect" hearing her statement, a little smile automatically formed on your lips "did jungkook tell you or.." "no no, Sir didn't tell me. It's just that.." you took a pause before continuing again "got help from someone" you completed as Mrs. Jeon looked at you with curious eyes

"And who is that?" she asked with a smile "Mr. Park" you answered "Mr. Park?" she questioned not getting who you're referring to

"Mr. Park Jimin"

Even tho you replied ever so calmly, the both of them didn't have calm reaction

"Jimin?" Mrs. Jeon repeated, slowly looking at the person sittings in front of her, whose movement halted hearing that name

you also moved your gaze towards him. you noticed his grip on the coffee mug had tightened while his facial expression had darkened

you shifted your eyes from him when he looked at you and his mother before getting up from the couch and making his way to the balcony, out of your sight

"Come, sit here" you snapped your head towards Mrs. Jeon, seeing her pat the seat beside her on the couch

"Ah, no-" you looked in front of you, seeing Jungkook come back inside and put the mug down on the glass table

"I'm alright here" you looked back at Mrs. Jeon again when you felt that he was looking back at you

"Aish, come sit beside me" she insisted. you were about to deny once again before she said something that made you and Jungkook look at her with shocked eyes

"Let me get to know my Jungkook's woman"
