EP XVI | Drunk-Kissed

"Y-Y/n" his voice came out shaky, as if he got.. caught

subconsciously looking down at your shoes, you didn't even realize when tears started to stream down your face. You felt so weird. Not wanting to stay there anymore, you turned your sneakers around and left the café afterwards

Loud sound were coming from the background as dohyun was continuously shouting your name to turn back but fastening your pace, you kept on running

in the empty roads, only the sound of your shoes scratching the concrete path and the sound of your heavy breathing and sobbing was heard

At a point, your legs gave up to run any further as you leaned your body down to the ground, sitting yourself on the edge of a footpath

"WHY GOD WHY?" not being able to bottle up your emotions anymore, you screamed on top of your lungs

"w-why does it have to be.. me?" you cried out, being done with your love life. It was your second time having your heart broken.. by the same man that had broken your heart for the first time

That too with the same reason, both of the times. Through your blurred vision, you pictured your 16 year old self back again, when you were standing among the crowd while Dohyun officially announced Hyejin as his girlfriend for the very first time

When the whole crowd was cheering for them as the couples kissed in front of everyone, you couldn't help yourself but to feel so miserable at that moment

second later, you found yourself pushing past the crowd and finally leave the suffocating canteen, which once you used to love coming to

you got inside an empty stall and locked yourself there before crying your heart out there. You loved Dohyun very much, since the very start of middle school of it has to be more specific

And after seeing him with someone else really tore your heart to not millions but to billions of pieces

Now back to the present, you didn't know what to do anymore. Loosing the one you love hurts really bad after having a little hope of you both being together and now that you were told he had no one at the moment, getting signals that he might have liked you this time

but you were wrong.. again

salty tears were flowing down your cheeks non-stop. you then suddenly acknowledged the paper bag around your wrist. taking it off, you took out the bottles of soju

grasping one of the bottle, you stared at it for a while debating whether to drink the pain away or not. your heart was heavy at the moment and all you wanted to do at this point was to feel a bit easier

torn between the both decisions, you eventually opened the bottle before harshly chugging the alcoholic liquid down your throat

you weren't really a fan of alcohol and your tolerance wasn't much either

and now drinking this whole bottle in one go, you were already more than wasted

sitting on a footpath in the middle of nowhere and now drinking more than you could tolerate wasn't the best idea

the strong alcohol consumed your mind as your vision slowly seemed to somewhat slow down

minutes after, in this dark place suddenly you saw light. it was a car's front light and soon enough the car stood in front of you

slowly, panic took over you. you tried to get back up on your feet and walk further from that suspicious car. the more steps you took, the harder it got for you to move forward. but your breath hitched hearing the car door open and you felt more uneasiness when the sound of footsteps came from behind you
