Black cat

In the silence of the dark night, a black cat walks,

In the moon's shadow, his fate, he softly talks.

With golden eyes and ebony fur so deep,

He roams the streets alone, like a secret to keep.

They say he brings bad luck, but it's just superstition,

For beneath the night's cloak, he seeks a lonely mission.

People avoid him, with fear in their eyes,

But deep down, he longs for a friend, under the starry skies.

His steps are like whispers, a dance in the dark,

Through alleyways and lanes, he embarks on his embark.

He seeks shelter on rooftops and in shadows unknown,

Yearning for human warmth, for kindness to be shown.

Yet, misfortune follows, or so they say,

And the solitary black cat, in the night, loses his way.

But in his heart, there's room for hope to reside,

To find a true friend, in whom he can confide.

For behind the superstition, in the shadows so deep,

Beats a lonely heart, in search of love to keep.

So if you cross his path, in the endless night's quest,

Don't fear his presence, let him be your guest.

For even in superstition, there's room to amend,

And the unlucky black cat, deserves love in the end.
