Why do we fear death
When we don't know what it's like?
Why do we hate death
When we don't understand it?
Death is a code
That can never be deciphered,
It's a mystery that disturbs our souls,
It's a thought that drives our minds to madness.
What lies beyond death?
Could it be a gentle and serene place,
As beautiful as a dream?
Could it be a place filled with hatred and terror,
As dreadful as a nightmare?
Could it be an emptiness full of loneliness and sorrow,
Or perhaps a place where we feel safe,
Filled with love and happiness?
But who knows, maybe death is what we make of it.
Everyone thinks differently, but in reality,
Death is something inconsequential,
Because whatever lies beyond it Won't affect how we make our decisions
Or how we view life.
