War

In the shadow of war, the world trembles,

Where peace hides, violence assembles.

Men and women, with courage to bear,

On the battlefield, their destinies they declare.

Drums resonate, soldiers march on,

In search of glory, in battles, they're drawn.

Tears of anguish in mothers' eyes,

Hoping their children return, healthy and wise.

War is a lament, a sad tale to weave,

Where lives are lost, with no reprieve.

But there's nobility in the warrior's heart,

Fighting for justice, their people, their part.

On the battlefield, valor is revealed,

In courage that transcends, in hope unconcealed.

That one day, perhaps, peace shall prevail,

And war will be but a sorrowful tale to unveil.

In the meantime, let's pray for those who go,

To face the unknown, brave in the shadows.

May war give way to peace, love, and unity,

And the world find its redemption in harmony.
