a young maximoff sits in awe on her bed as she watches a newscaster say that her older sister is a weapon of mass destruction.
"hey kenna, team meeting," steve rodgers states, popping his head through the crack of her open door.
she turns her television off and follows the man out to the open meeting room.
she walks in, noticing an old man who looks like he is sexist talking to the rest of the team.
she sits down next to her sister, wanda, and leans closer to her ear.
"who is this again?" mckenna asks with a hint of her sakovian accent.
"secretary of state kens," wanda replies not looking away.
"new york," he states, showing a video of the battle of new york from 2012. "washington dc." a new video shows up from the events of the winter soldier. "sokovia."
that is what broke the young teen. her brother died trying to save sokovia. mckenna, wanda, and pietro were all extremely close especially after the loss of their parents. pietro and wanda wanted to volunteer for experiments for hydra, and mckenna, not wanting to be alone, went along with them.
