Shinji was casually listening to his favorite song, "Whistle," by Flo Rida and used for edits of his celebrity crush, Josh Hutcherson.
Asuka entered his room without Shinji's permission. "Hey, Shinji?" Asuka asked.
"What is it Asuka?" Shinji asked as a response.
"What is it Asuka?" Asuka repeated.
"Huh, what?"
"Huh, what?" Asuka repeated.
"Can you stop it?"
"Can you stop it?" Asuka repeated.
Shinji took a second to think to himself. "I, Asuka Langley Soryu, am a homosexual."
"I, Asuka Langley Soryu, am a homosexual," Asuka stopped herself, "YOUR MOTHER DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!"

Shinji shed a single tear. Asuka chuckled as she walked away and Gendo entered the room and said, "It's true, Shinji. Yui's death is your fault."
Gendo abandoned Shinji for the thirteenth time. Shinji cried again.
