Natalia POV

I walked away at a quick pace as tears began to weld up in my eyes I ran into Anna who took one look at me and led us to her car. I sat down in the car and began to panic a bit.

"Hey, hey, hey what's wrong?" She asked as my chest got heavy as I tried to calm myself down.

I promised myself that this wouldn't happen, I promised myself I wouldn't let her get to me, I promised, I promised.

"Andrea.." I spoke, her eyes immediately turned to anger as she looked around the parking lot looking for her but I grabbed her arm making sure she couldn't leave the car.

"What did she do?" She asked as I sighed and wiped my tears away.

"Nothing.. But also something." I said which made her switch from anger to confusion.

"Ok well explain what that means please." Anna said with a confused look, making me chuckle.

"She warned me about Brooke." I replied as Anna's eyes held even more confusion but also held curiosity.

"But she also looked at me with that look...the look of- I don't know how to explain it but it triggered an anxiety attack that's all." I finished explaining as Anna nodded, still looking zoned out.

"What's up with you?" I asked as she snapped out of her thoughts and looked at me.

"What?" She asked.

"I said what's up with you, you zoned out." I said as Anna looked down at her hands before looking back up at me.

"Chloe did the same to me, warned me about Brooke, something about playing with people's hearts." She answered as I nodded.

"Oh.." I mumbled as she nodded.

"Oh, that's right." She said before she cleared her throat.

"Well I guess we keep an eye out or what?" Anna asked as I thought about it for a minute.

I mean Brooke only hangs out with me but I don't like her like that. I only like her as a friend nothing more, so if Chloe's words are true then we won't have to 'keep an eye out' because I don't like her like that.

"No, let's not. I don't like her like that anyway so there's no reason to." I explained as Anna nodded and sighed.

"Ok then now that's over I can drive you home." Anna said with a chuckle as I nodded as she started the car and pulled out of the school parking lot.

I looked out the window as a comfortable silence as I watched the trees pass as I felt something just changed, changed completely.
