Natalia POV

"I remember everything about that day, and I regret it so much." Andrea said as she finished reciting everything that happened the last day I was here.

I was surprised she remembered it all.

"You remember?" I asked as she nodded.

"Of course I remember that day I caused so many things, I ruined Chloe and Anna's relationship without realizing that Chloe actually cared she didn't talk to me for months after that."

"Anna didn't even look in our direction, even went as far as to threaten to move away just like you did if Chloe continued to try and get her back, and that she'd 'never forgive her' for choosing me."

"And then you-" She said her words stuck in her throat as she looked at me before letting out a shaky breath and continued.

"You left. You left and didn't come back, for 4 years you left, hell I even thought it was a lie when they told me you left.. I even went to Anna and asked her to only be met with a middle finger and a lot of choice words." She said as she got closer to me, grabbing my hands lightly, squeezing them.

"I regret it." She said as she looked up from my hands, her eyes speaking more words than her own mouth.

"I regret it, so so much." She said as I looked at her shocked.

We held eye contact as she squeezed my hands, I think it was for comfort but for the first time in a long time, I wasn't uncomfortable with someone's touch. I mean I didn't wanna push her away, nothing, I felt at peace.

"I'm not asking for forgiveness because I know I don't deserve it, I need to earn it but please..don't, don't be mad at me for too long, ok?" She said as I looked at her confused.

Without any hesitation, without any thought, I pulled Andrea Hayes into a hug, a meanful one.

She was shocked for a moment before she wrapped her arms around me and sunk into the hug as I did, we both stayed silent for this moment, most likely afraid to ruin it until she spoke.

"I'm sorry Natalia." She whispered to me as I nodded and just hugged her tighter as we stood there, the weight off my chest I just hugged her.

"You can stay for as long as you like." She whispered as I nodded and smiled.

"Thank you." I said as we both smiled as silence filled the room.

I guess that didn't end badly after all.
