Anna POV
Me and Chloe laughed as we walked through the resort, we had done this to in a way heal our broken bond, and let me tell you it was going great.
"Ha..I can't explain how much I missed this." She said as we both looked ahead of us.
"You missed me?" I said jokingly as her attention turned to me.
"Yes, yes I did." She said suddenly, causing me to stop.
"What?"
"I missed you. So much Ann..sorry Anna." She said as she looked deep into my eyes, I stared back not knowing what to say.
After what happened I barely even talked to her, barely even looked at her even though she tried. I never knew how much it actually affected her, until now I guess.
"I'm sorry for choosing her, I regretted it everyday after that- to me, you weren't a bet..you were..well everything." She said as I looked at her and just stood there for a moment.
I didn't know what to say.
For the first time in my life I had no clue what to say.
I was shocked, relieved, and filled with..compassion.
"I still care about you more than anything in the world..ann- Anna crap, I'm sorry I know you said to not call you that anymore-"
"Don't be sorry, you can say it, it's what your used too." I interrupted as she frooze and looked at me confused.
"I forgave you a long time ag-" I started but was interrupted by a light kiss on the cheek just like she used to do.
"Sorry, had too." She said with a big smile as I smiled back and returned the kiss before we got back to our table.
I checked my phone to see dozens of texts from Natalia ranging from angry, paincing, and then back to anger I shot up my seat and looked at Chloe who looked confused.
"I know you really wanna continue this and I do too but something happened and I don't know what." I said quickly, making Chloe get up.
"With who?" She asked.
"Natalia." I said as her eyes widened.
"Crap." She mumbled as she grabbed our stuff and we headed towards the rooms at a quick pace.
