I used to be a girl who was flightless, dreamless, and unmotivated. Just waiting for the world to end so I wouldn't have to face the harsh reality I have. That's what I used to be like.
But then, suddenly, you existed. You came into my life without a warning. You came to me and brightened up my whole world, just like how the moon shines in the darkest nights.
"What's your dream?" you asked, which I only answered with a shrug. I don't really know what my dream is. I don't think I even have one.
But upon seeing your dazzling smile and those dreamy almond eyes of yours, my heart can't help but skip a beat.
Oh, I think I'm having a change of heart.
"I remember, I have one, actually," I said, smiling.
"Then shoot for the moon. Who knows, it might be in your hands tomorrow."
But instead of the moon, can I shoot for your heart instead? Because the moon represents my dream, and my dream equates to you.
