Chapter 19, Who's Baby?

Hailey's POV

I was quiet during our ride to my mother's grave. I always feel emotional whwn I VISIT her grave. At least it was a nice evening. Matt helps me out of the car, we walk hand in hand to my mother's tombstone, where I sat her flowers down. Matt rubs my back, as I speak to my mother.

"Mother, i've missed you so much. I want you to know that I found and married the man of my dreams. He has married me, and now we're expecting a baby soon.

Matt takes a couple of steps forward, then squats down in speaking in a gentle tone.

"Mother Heather, I love your daughter,.i will take care of and protect her and the little one. I know you and my parents are watching from above.

Matt stands up, taking my hand walking towards the car.

"Let's head back to Andrew's house." I look at him, with a concern expression.

"If you break things off with Courtney, she'll threaten you with the pictures again. I trust you. i'm more concern about you if it gets onto the internet.' Matt sighs as he starts the car,

"One thing I want to discuss with Andrew. I know you weren't intimate with Hunter, so I know it's mine. I know Courtney will try to plant doubt, but it's not going to work." I nod with agreement,

"i'm not afraid of what she'll do. She's always smug about where she is with you." Matt squeezes my hand,

"it will be interesting." Matt pulls into the drive, we see Courtney's car.

"Why is she here?" Matt turns the car off, turning to me.

"I have no idea, my gut thinks she's feeling insecure like you said. Stay close to me." I nod, as we get out of the car. We walk into the house hand in hand. We looked around, Courtney wasn't insight. Matt looks over at Andrew,

"Where is Courtney? There's something I need to do. The plan needs to be called off." Andrew clears his throat.

"I put her in the study. She's feeling insecure."

Matt nods, taking my hand leading me towards the study. We get to the door, both of us take a deep breath then head inside. Courtney stands up when she hears us come in. She has a big smile, until she sees me.

"Matt, i'm glad to see you, but why is she here? She's not important." Matt squeezes my hand, as he speaks to her.

"Courtney, Hailey is here by my invitation. She's pregnant with my baby." Courtney scoffs at my words,

"How do you know if it's yours. She's been busy seeing Hunter as well." Matt shakes his head,

"Courtney, I never had sex with him. We're just friends." Courtney starts laughing,

"I don't believe this. I want to see a DNA results. What are you going to do with the baby?" I look at Matt,

"I'm going to keep it.." Courtney shakes her head,

"Matt, could we raise the baby together. Then she can be with Hunter. I love you so much. I want to be your wife. I demand that you cut all ties with her!" Courtney hisses as she points her finger at me,

"You can be there at the birth, but we will take the baby home with us. Hailey, Hunter really loves you, the best thing you can do is get abortion." Matt clears his throat,

"Courtney, you need to understand...."
