The sound of the ball meeting the ground could be heard around the arena, people passing the ball to one another and trying to shoot the ball, people with sweats lingering in their whole body while slightly sagging due to tiredness from playing for a whole quarter without being sub out

"They're tough, I'll admit it" Azusa said panting while sitting on the bench taking a few gulps of water

Tatsuya took a deep breath while closing his eyes, you could see that both teams were tired but you could also see the determination in there eyes. The eyes which screamed I want to win "My legs are shaking" Tatsuya said while looking at his shaking legs

Akihito sighed and looked at Kuroko tiredly "Can you sub me out? I'm seriously tired" he pleaded to Kuroko

Kuroko nodded and stood up to tell the referee and the announcer that they will be subbing Akihito out when Tatsuya said "Me too" and Kuroko just nodded and informed the referee and the announcer and they nodded and announced that the Second Quarter begins

"Sakurai, your gonna be the shooting guard while Tsubaki will be the power forward in place of Akihito, got it?" Kuroko said and the others nodded

The whistle blow, signaling the Second Quarter is about to begin "Ok, guys we managed to win in the First Quarter but don't let your guard down because the GoM will be more dangerous at this part of the game, understood?" Kuroko asked

"Yes" they all replied and Kuroko nodded "Ok, let's go" after saying that, all of the players walked inside the court

Kuroko looked at the GoM's side and wasn't surprised when he saw Kagami with them 'They're bringing out there weapon' Kuroko thought, smirking a little bit in Kagami's direction to rile the man a little and sure enough Kagami's expression changed into one of a predator eager to lap it's prey until it can't move

'No matter how big and wild a tiger is, it's easy to take it down when you know where to strike' Kuroko thought smirking

The game begins and the ball was in Kise's hand "Kurokocchi, we will not lose to you" he said and with an amazingly speed, went past Azusa to shoot the ball but to everyone's utmost surprise except Phoenix, Azusa was able to turn around and jump to stop the ball from shooting.

Kise's jaw dropped "H-hey, how were you able to jump so fast?" He asked Azusa the moment his foot touch the ground making Azusa glance at him "I just followed my instinct, that's all" Azusa said before going in position in front of Kise

Kise growled a little irritated that he was blocked "I'll never lose to you" he said to Azusa making Azusa raised a brow at him and of course Azusa wouldn't be Azusa if he wouldn't tease his enemy a little "Come at me, little kitten" Azusa said with a teasing tone

Kise growled again but didn't retort back because arguing will only lead to distraction and distraction might lead them to failure and he doesn't want that. Kise is in his element, so he has confidence that will not lose if it comes to basketball

"I'll just copy your movements and everything will fall into place" he said at Azusa while smirking a little bit and to Kise's utmost surprise Azusa just chuckled "You might have the ability to copy the movements and skills of your opponent but you don't have the ability to bring out the best of the skills you stole from your enemy" he said

Kise just grunted annoyed and just focused on the game, this game only has two set of quarters, and seeing as this is the last set and seeing as Kuroko's team was leading by 4 points, they can't let them score or else the gap between them will spread and that's not good
