Kuroko was the first to wake up after feeling something brushing against the top of his hair, it was a gentle caress making him blink his eyes open only to see Sakura awake and staring at him while smiling

Kuroko sat up and stretched his arms up all the while yawning and blinking his eyes repeatedly for it to get used to the light

Once Kuroko was fully awake he instantly shot to attention and focus on Sakura "Are you okay? Do you need anything? Thirsty? Hungry?" Kuroko kept firing questions at Sakura that Sakura can no longer keep up with him

"Slow down, I'm fine" Sakura said chuckling

Kuroko blushed "Sorry" he murmured

Sakura shooked her head "It's fine, I know that you're really worried about me and besides, I find it cute that you're losing your composure just because of me" she said looking ashamed when she said the last part

Kuroko blushed even more but then frowned "Don't say 'just because of me', you're an important person to me and you will learn to respect yourself and not refer to yourself as if you're some dirt on someone's shoe"

"That's really harsh Kuroko" Sakura said wincing at the chosen words of Kuroko

Kuroko sighed "Forgive me, but I can't just stand beside you and not do anything when you're putting yourself down because you think that you're not good enough" Kuroko said cupping Sakura's cheek gently and caressing it with his thumb "You're beautiful in my eyes, you're a goddess in my mind, but most of all you're an angel in my heart, you might not see it but you are more than what you think you are, don't put yourself down because others insult you, that just shows that they're envious of you because you did not just get beauty but you also have what other people don't possess and that is kindness" Kuroko said looking into Sakura's teary eyes

"How can you stir my emotions just by talking?" Sakura asked while sobbing softly

Kuroko kissed her forehead "I don't know what you're talking about but I'm only saying the truth" he said looking into Sakura's eyes while smiling gently

"You were just asking me if I was okay then our conversation took a turn and now I'm crying because of you" Sakura said while sobbing

Kuroko grinned "I hope in a good way" he said making Sakura giggled "Yes, in a good way" Sakura responded

They heard a cough and they turn towards the source to find Tsubaki and the others grinning like crazy while Hikari was blushing like crazy

"Sorry to interrupt your little world, but we also need to see for ourselves if Sakura is okay" Ray said raising an eyebrow at Kuroko who didn't move from his position beside Sakura

"What?" Kuroko grunted, pissed that Tsubaki and the others ruined their moment

"And for that to happen you have to let go of Sakura and move away for us to see her better" Azusa continued raising an eyebrow as well

Kuroko tightened his arms around Sakura but not too tight or he might hurt her by accident "You can tell if she's okay or not even if I don't move from my position" Kuroko grumbled not budging

Sakura chuckled and patted Kuroko's face gently "They're just teasing" she said

Kuroko pouted "I know but... but" Kuroko trailed off "They ruined our moment" he said pouting some more

Sakura chuckled and cooed
"You're so cute when you're pouting" she said making Kuroko pout some more

They were interrupted yet again by a series of awes from Azusa and the others "Aren't they just the cutest couple you've ever seen" Azusa gushed
