A girl with snow white hair slowly blink her eyes open only to close it again because of the blinding light that stung her eyes

Becoming aware of her surroundings, she heard a distinctive sound of a beeping object, she turned around to search for the sound only to stop when she saw a bundle of blue hair on the side of her bed

She looked closely and saw the tear stained face of a sleeping Kuroko, she gently smiled and reach for him only to stop when a flash of searing pain went up her arm causing for her to gasp loudly and waking Kuroko up who sits up when he saw that Sakura is awake

"Sakura?" Kuroko asked, his voice trembling a little

Sakura smiled at Kuroko only to wince when she moved "Hai?" She gently asked

Kuroko reached his arms out to her face and cup her cheeks gently "I'm sorry" Kuroko choked out, tears sliding down his face

"Why are you saying sorry?" Sakura asked creasing her eyebrows on the process

"If I hadn't snap at you then you wouldn't have run away then you wouldn't have been in an accident" Kuroko said still sobbing

At first Sakura couldn't grasp what Kuroko meant then flashes of what happened came back to her and she could only smile sadly "It's okay" she said cupping Kuroko's face with both of her hands, ignoring the pain she hugged Kuroko and murmured words of forgiveness

"Why are you so forgiving?" Kuroko asked still sniffling "I'm the cause of your misfortune and yet you smile and hold me close like what happened to you didn't happen at all" Kuroko added looking into Sakura's brownish eyes

Sakura smiled and chuckled lightly " My mom once told me the past will always stay in the past, starting today, you need to forget what's gone, appreciate what still remains, and look forward to what's coming next" Sakura stated while smiling "You see Kuroko without those words I wouldn't be who I am today"

"I don't get it" Kuroko said making Sakura chuckle "Someday you will" she whispered and slowly closed her eyes slowly surrendering herself to the darkness

"Don't worry, I won't make the same mistake again" Kuroko whispered and kissed Sakura's forehead

Standing up from his chair he walked towards the door and made a move to open it when he heard his name being called

Kuroko turned around and headed back to Sakura who was looking quite teary making him frown, then he heard his name slipping from her lips

"Kuroko" Sakura whispered looking restless in her sleep, instantly Kuroko held Sakura's fragile ones into his hands, gently squeezing it and slowly but surely, Sakura slowly relax and the creased in her forehead disappeared

Kuroko smiled and brushed his fingers to Sakura's face lightly then walked out of the room

"She's awake" Kuroko announced to the nervous teens outside the room

"So?" Ray asked looking relieve, now that Sakura is okay "Was she upset with you?"

"Idiot, you should ask if she's okay first" Azusa scolded

"What, Kuroko just said that she's okay" Ray asked looking offended that Azusa called him an idiot

"Kuroko said she was awake not okay" Azusa shot back

"Same thing" Ray said while shrugging

Sakurai got in between them "Now, stop fighting and let's jut be happy that Sakura woke up"
Then he looked at Kuroko "So?"
