(Translation: Welcome to the Philippines!)

March 24

6:30 AM Philippine Time

"The Stans (countries like Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan) have arrived, the Middle Eastern countries, the other half of the Africans are coming next, then the Eastern European countries, then my fellow ASEANS." Maria checked the list of the groups of nations coming together. Nations prefer to travel in groups for some reason unknown to author who is a mere mortal. She let the Northern and Middle Eastern Asian nations roam the city of Manila (with the personification of Manila, of course) and rest at the hotel that Manila owned. while she waited for the African nations. Half an hour later she saw a plane from Chad land. Raising up the white-colored cartolina, she eagerly waited for the passengers to get down. From there, she could see the blue dress and red ribbons of her fellow tropical nation. She began to jump up and down repeatedly when she saw them coming.

"Guys, Over here!" She yelled earning her some strange looks from her oblivious citizens.

"Maria, I'm so glad to see you!" Seychelles squealed softly.

"Maria, long time no see!" The personification of Kenya greeted while Egypt gave her a curt nod.

"Some of the Eastern Europeans will be coming in half an hour, would it be alright if you stayed with me for a while?" Maria inquired.

"No problem, but would you mind if a few of us go to the food court or something?" Chad asked.

"No, the rest can wait with me at the waiting area where they can rest for a while. I apologize for not being able to give you a better place to rest after the flight. I wasn't able to think this part through."

"No, it is alright. The fact that you waited for us at the airport and that you have provided us transportation to the meeting place is enough." South Africa smiled.

She gave directions to the airport's food court and gave them one thousand pesos because they haven't exchanged their money into Philippine Peso yet

"We need to go to another station. We'll be meeting some of the Eastern Europeans there." She said, those who remained followed her while the others agreed to remain at the food court and regroup there as well. The Philippines and Seychelles conversed about anything and everything while the others chimed in every once in a while.

Forty-five minutes later a plane from Russia arrived and Maria kept a look out for the tall, silver haired, Russian. Although she failed to locate the man, she found the female Belarusian followed by her Ukrainian sister. They were both accompanied by the Baltics and Poland.

"Hello, Ms. Arlovskaya, Ms. Braginskaya, Mr. Laurinaitis, Mr. Galante, Mr. von Bock, Mr. Lukasiewics. Welcome to the Philippines."

Lithuania smiled. "It's a pleasure to see you again Ms. Dela Cruz."

"Please, just call me Maria."

"Then call me Toris, and I'm sure the others would like it if you would call them by their first names too. Right, guys?"

"Sure! Like, it's totally cool girl, no need to be shy and formal." The Pole agreed.

"Well then would you guys like to eat something? Travel around maybe?"

"I think walking around would be good for all of us." Ukraine decided while the others simply agreed.

"Sure, let me call my sibling. I still have to wait for a few more representatives before we all head to the ferry to go to Siquijor." She made a quick call to Quezon and thanked him before turning to her fellow nations.
