Chapter Thirty Five
Wednesday
+1 472 273 **** : We need to talk
The message portrayed on the front screen, blinding me with its intense brightness. Surrounded by pitch black, I lazily huffed while slowly turning onto my back.
It was currently 3:27am, a time apparently in which someone thought that it was the right time to send me a text message. Beside from the fact that the number wasn't saved, I have a feeling that I don't want this person texting me.
Me : who is this?
+1 472 273 **** : What?
Me : who is this, your number isn't saved.
It took them a bit to reply back to me, probably because they were met by mere hesitation.
+1 472 273 **** : This is Collin ....
+1 472 273 **** : You .... deleted my number?
Yikes! I forgot that not too long ago, I deleted his contact specifically because of something he'd said. I guess I forgot to ask him for it again.
Me : yes, a couple days ago ... why are you texting me at this time of night?
Collin : I'm texting you because I'm at your window.
Collin : Or I was ...
Me : well what happened
Collin : You deleted my number.
Me : what's it to you?
Collin : I thought we were cool, you know? I thought we were passed all of this.
Me : all of what?
Collin : Being childish, I came over to apologize but now I know I should've trusted my head and not my gut
Me : ugh, Collin what do you want? it's too early in the morning for you to be texting me like this
Collin : I want to know why you said yes to Mason
Me : .... rlly?
