Halloween 🎃

"Boys!" I scolded, "If you don't get in this bath this instant, I will cancel trick or treating." I didn't mean a single word but I knew it would get the job done.

Their eyes immediately shot open as they have each other concerned looks. They nodded quickly as the clothes instantly came off, thrown into the laundry bag.

Calum being the first to step into the bath, "Sorry mommy." He mutters.

Caleb followed, "Sorry."

I chuckled then proceeded to bathe my three-year-old twin boys, smiling gingerly as I did. I never thought I'd have my own Alex and Abel but here they were and trust me that's exactly who they were. They looked like me but acted exactly like the Russo twins.

Caleb was every bit like his father, domineering and bold while my little Calum was like his uncle, quiet but fierce when he needed to be. They protected one another and seldom had actual disagreements. They really were best friends.

They had dark curls like their father but the strands were much more frizzy like mine, hazel eyes like mine, button nose like mine and lips like mine. Although sometimes I swore I could see little specks of green floating in their eyes. I hoped I was seeing right because I did want them to have their fathers eyes.

It was crazy how much they had my features but their structure was their fathers as well as their mannerisms were their fathers.

Often times I'd just watch them play and think we made that. My mate and I made them, these beautiful little devils.

Oh, it sounds mean but the mischief! It was insane for toddlers. They were so advanced, already keeping up with their cousin Aleister. The three of them protected little Emma like she was a gem. A fragile little gem, it made Elisha and I coo all the time.

Once bath time was over, I put them into their costumes.

The Pack was celebrating Halloween, I made sure of it. Lex thought it was dumb, unnecessary. However, I managed to twist his arm a little. And viola, we're letting all the Pack kids trick or treat for the first time. They were all very excited.

Could you guess what the boys decided on?

Once I told them 'dressing as the other twin' would not work at all because they already are identical and dress similar. They decided on being the Alpha and Beta.

I thought it was hilarious. Lex and Kyrie had no clue. They thought they were going as zombies or whatever, I let them conjure up whatever they wanted to believe the boys were going to be.

Caleb as the eldest, was going as Lex. I got them both tailored outfits. He was dressed in black jeans, black boots and a tight fitted grey shirt. I then sprayed his hair with my hairspray to keep it shining like his dad's. While Calum had on blue jeans, red and black Jordan's and a white muscle shirt. I gelled the side of his hair back so it looked shaven like Kyrie's sides then I put conditioner in the middle to keep it frizzed.

I couldn't help but let out a little squeal as I looked at them, they were adorable!

"Okay boys, let's go." I held each ones hand as we made our way down the stairs.

When we got to the bottom I saw Emma dressed as Snow White and Aleister as one of the dwarfs. They couldn't look any cuter than they did. Emma's favourite Princess is Snow White.

When she saw me she screamed, "Yay!" And clapped her hands enthusiastically.

Emma had begged and pleaded that Elisha and I dress as Elsa and Anna from Frozen. There was nothing she wanted more. For a two year old she was incredibly persuasive. Or rather, she threw great enough fits in order to get her way. Either way, she's persuasive.

She wobbled over to me and hugged my legs, "Aunty looks pwetty." She beamed.

"Thank you, Emma. You look gorgeous. Snow White would be jealous." I picked her up.

"Have you seen Lex?" I asked Elisha, who was sporting a ginger lace wig. Which surprisingly suited her really well.

"No, you want him to see the boys?" She smirked.

"Yes! I mean look at them! They're so adorable!" I resisted pinching their cheeks, they hated it. Claimed I was embarrassing them. Imagine that.

"Look at you Aleister, you look so cute. I love your costume." I rubbed his cheek, resisting to ruffle up his hair.

In that moment Alexander walked in, dressed in an all black outfit. Topped with a trench coat and a black long axe thing. The Grim Reeper. I smiled, it suited him, actually. His dark hair was gelled back, in place. Showing off his well structured facial features.

I wanted to jump his bones. Dammit.

He drank me in, and walked up to me. Not noticing the boys. Before he could get close enough and hurt their feelings by not sparing them a glance I linked him.

'Look at the boys.'

He furrowed his brows, obviously wondering why. He looked to my right and gave out the most mouth watering, knee buckling smile. Pride swelled deep in his eyes and our bond. I could feel how proud and honoured he was over their outfits.

'I fucking love it.' He linked and I knew I did a good job.

"It was their idea." I left out the part that this was not their first idea.

"Come here my little devils." I rolled my eyes, not impressed that he had settled on calling them that full time.

They ran up to him and he bent down to carry them both. He stood with either one on his hip. "I love you two."

They giggled and buried their heads in his neck, making him shut his eyes and smile.

I never thought it possible to love someone so much. Let alone three. Watching them always made my heart swell with innumerable emotions. I could never love anyone more than I love these three boys right here.

He came up to me with them still in his arms and kissed me. It wasn't crazy, just gentle but still conveying a message.

Love and appreciation.

We all headed out to trick or treat. We followed the kids for a while before they got tired. The sweets they gathered would last them the damn year.

Returning home they dumped all their sweets on the floor, we helped count them. Separating them into categories by the days. I knew it was pointless, they would eat them all as soon as I turned my head. But a mother can try, right?

I could tell the Pack enjoyed themselves, the hum through the Pack Link was beautiful. Everyone sharing their stories and thanks. I didn't listen in on it often but today I did. I smiled and told them they didn't have to thank me.

I wanted them to have a fun filled night. One to remember and look forward to every year. I wanted us to start and continue traditions. I didn't just want to be a Luna by name. I wanted to be one in every way possible and I knew little things like this was the way to go. Not everything has to be serious and strategic, some times it needs to be all love and happiness and I was willing to give them that.

Before the night drew to a close, I heard Abel's voice ring in my mind.

'I told you, you are just what we needed.'
