Making a bet with your drunk friends never ends well. Corey is reminded of that when he finds himself aboard an alien ship, taking him and a bunch of other humans to another planet for a so-called Yearly Exchange Program the alien and human leaders agreed on after months and months of negotiations.
Everything would be great and dandy if the new environment wasn't just as fascinating as it was scary and dangerous. Corey and his friends find themselves excited and freaked out at the same time, having to navigate between the truths and lies the aliens tell them, and when a sinister force no one expected surfaces and threatens to take over the strange world, no one will be safe.
