Rainbow Dash's P.O.V
I missed Pinkie's birthday party. I know...it's bad but the last week has been hell. I now live alone, in a flat provided by a charity. Still...Pinkie will be upset, they all will. I get outside the foor they're in and am about to enter when their comments start a tsunami of pain and betrayal.
"So Dash got the reward for the most loyal girl in school." Twilight says, her voice surprised.
"Loyal? What in tarnation? She can only be described as self centred." Applejack comments.
"She can be a right party pooper!" Pinkie adds. "She didn't even remember my birthday!"
"Darling...She can be a bit egotistic." Rarity says.
"She's not all bad... she's just not good." Fluttershy says.
"According to my observations she's not really a great friend." Twilight adds. I feel tears pricked my eyes but wipe them away and walk in.
"Hey. Sorry I missed your birthday Pinkie. Family emergency." I apologise.
"It's quite alright darling." Rarity replies. They all act like they weren't just talking about me.. What if they've always thought this? What if I've never actually had friends who cared? The thought hurts, nearly as much as their comments.
"What kind of family emergency?" Applejack asks, her voice dripping with suspion.
"Just...I don't want to talk about it." I state.
"K..." Twilight says.
For once they don't push it.
I think about confronting them. I will... tomorrow. I want one more day with friends.... Maybe they didn't mean it though and were just annoyed. I really hope that's the case. So very much. I need my friends... Escpecially after this week's events. I cant tell them though... I still feel sick remembering it. Each detail... still in my head.
Please.... Don't let our friendship end.
