Jake's POV
I got in the elevator then went up top floor 40, then went to the conference room. There were two people in the room a guy and a lady.
I knocked on the door then walked in. Both the guy and the lady stood up. OMG! Why is she here?
"I hope I haven't kept you waiting?" I asked them hiding my surprised emotion.
"No, not at all." The guy replied.
"My name is Jake Marshall and I'm the owner of this hotel."
"My name is Max Morten and this is my fiance Carolina." Max introduced themselves.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Morten and Mrs. Morten." I said shaking their hands then took a seat. My heart felt like a fragile piece of glass that just broke in half.
