Recap of Chapter 6: Alex was confronted by three girls from district 4, also known as the Hush-hush district. Seeing this on the dragonfly feed above made Seth and Kaleb desperately seek her out. Not only was her number in danger but so was her life. Alex was knocked unconscious by the girls and before anyone could see what happened next, the feed was cut. When the feed disappeared, Seth began to sense a mysterious evil aura coming from Alex's direction, but so did Aiden, the X Caster. Seth made it to Alex only to discover that she had wrecked two out of three of the girls, and the third was fleeing for her life. Kaleb swooped in to save her from Alex then desperately asked Seth to kill the two girls, or they'd lose Alex. Seth couldn't do it but miraculously Aiden showed up and got the job done. But with his recent brutalities, is he a friend or a foe? Find out in this chapter of "CASTERS".

First Person. Seth's (POV)

The X Caster has appeared.

"So we finally meet. I've been looking for you, Pyro Caster." He made a step forward, as the tattoos on his right arms began to glow a radiant blue color. Both Kaleb and I stepped further away from him.

"M-me?" I stuttered out. "You've been looking for me? Why?" I was confused by his words.

"To kill you." His voice deepened. My eyes widened at the seriousness in his tone. Why would he want to kill me? Was he sent here by someone?

"Aiden," The monkey curved his tail around his neck, seemingly frightened.

"I know. I sense it too. Pure evil." He said. "My head spun around to Alex quickly. Her entire body was surrounded by a black aura. Dark veins ran through her skin and she moves like she's sleep walking. "I've never felt anything this sinister in my life. It must be destroyed."

"No!" Kaleb angrily yelled. The monkey had already flown into the air. Crystals had extended down his arm creating a sharp blade. "You're not killing my sister!"

"Oh that's right. You seem to have some knowledge of what's happened to her. Care to elaborate?" He asked.

"I can't explain it right now. But my sister's been possessed."

"Possessed? Like, by a spirit?" I asked, and he nodded. "So you know how to stop this, Kaleb?"

"Not exactly. I only knew how to prevent it. But I've been developing a Casterian for a situation like this. I'm unsure whether it'll work or not. But if it does, the flow of magic within here body with be cut off and so will that evil aura." He turned to Alex.

"What do you plan to do?" I asked.

He dug into his bag and pulled out needles, at least six inches in length. He held them between his fingers in both hands. "Just you watch." He said. "Rashi!" He flashed, moving quickly toward Alex.

At a rapid speed he threw them at her, only to have them bounce off and land in the tree trunks and ground surrounding her.

"What? I can't even see her blocking them." I said.

"She's not. The black aura surrounding her is like a physical layer of magical force." I looked at the X Caster as he spoke. "She's using it as a defense mechanism. Plain needles could never touch her." I looked back their way and noticed that Kaleb had stopped moving.

He pulled out more needles and this time there was something different about them. They had a bright blue glow.

"So he's figured it out." Kaleb flashed around again, releasing needles at her from all directions. The aura surrounding the needles collided with the aura surrounding Alex. That part of the aura was shattered on impact causing the needle to pierce her skin.
