In Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green, there is a little girl in berry forest who is being scared by a wild Hypno until your force it away in a battle. Hypno's pokedex entry reads 'It carries a pendelum-like device. There once was an incident when it stole a young child it had hypnotized.'
