Fact #72 (Another Theory)

This one is a very very very very popular thoery and 95% of all Pokemon Trainers probably know it, but I'd like to share it with ya'll today.

It is believed that Ditto is a failed experiment at cloning Mew. Ya.

Think about it. They're both pink, both their shiny forms are blue, they are the only two Pokemon who can learn Transform naturally. In the metric system, they both weigh 4kg, in the imperial system, they both weigh 8.8 lbs. Both their base stats are even across the board.

So, we all know the story between Mew and Mewtwo. Team Rocket tried many times to clone Mew's genes to create the most powerful Pokemon ever, later to become Mewtwo. They said they failed many times, the failed experiments were released into the wild. Ya.

Not only that, but Ditto can alone found in 1 of 2 places (in Fire Ref and Leaf Green that is) Cerulean Cave (did I spell that right?) the only place in the entire game that Mewtwo can be found. Or Cinnibar Mansion, where many books and notes on Mew are hidden. Yup. Pretty legit.
