Kronos was winning, though those demis were still fighting his army. The battle that will end Olympus's rule and start the new era would be in the throne room. There in the hall, stood 2 demigods. Perseus Jackson, the son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase, the daughter of Athena. Confidence to protect their home shone in their eyes.
The real battle started. Their once friend, now a foe was Luke Castellan. But it wasn't the Luke they knew, no. That was a betrayed demi who was seeking revenge on the gods. That was Kronos's host.
"Funny thing, Jackson," Luke said, "that the one you trust the most betrayed you." Percy obviously, was confused, but shrugged it off. Their battle continued and Percy nearly killed the titan, but then he felt an enormous pain just where his Achilles' heel was. Falling to his knees he saw a short bronze dagger, Annabeth's dagger. Annabeth betrayed him. Then he closed his eyes and sank into darkness.
