I opened my eyes but all I saw was blurry. I stood up, and heard many gasps as I did. "Percy! " a young blond girl wrapped her arms around me. Annabeth. Okay, Acting-Like-Thalia-Time. "sorry but do I know you?" she looked close to tears. "I'm Annabeth, do not you remember me? " of course I remember you, you literally shattered my heart! "A-Annabeth? no way, she-you were only seven!" giving me a small smile she said "yeah, I was only 7 but that was six years ago. Perce you were a tree for 6 years" I did my best to look frozen and a bit terrified and it seems she bought it.
I looked around and recognized several faces. The Stolles, Clariss, Selina, Katie and Will. There was this girl beside Annie that looked like my twin, well would have looked like. "but how I like...um...returned?" "well" started the green-eyed girl "me and wise girl helped to find the Golden Fleece with Clariss over there," she said pointing toward the later.
"so this is camp G-man talked about?" I said pointing towards the light below us. "Yes, it is" answered Annabeth cheerfully. with a smile, I asked, "where is old man Luke?" there was silence and Annabeth's face fell. My 'twin' answered "He-he betrayed us for Kronos" clouds began to gather, thunder boomed high above and everybody looked at me with fear. I was angry. "No, he didn't. He can't. He couldn't do such a thing" near the end my voice was broken. Annie started to cry and I went to comfort her. "shhh don't cry. For me?" The effect was like charm-speech. I looked at her with understanding eyes and a sad smile and embraced her in a hug. I somehow knew she was blushing.
