Eyes and Wings

It was now Monday and I'd decided that I would not go to class

I just couldn't stop thinking about these wings they were as dark as the midnight sky and looked soft to the touch with golden rims outlining the wings that could capture any eye white specks littered all around the wings emphasizing the beauty that the wings held

And those eyes so captivating and yet, they held dominance that'd have any man whimpering in fear the golden specks that shined like stars within the eyes that i dreamt of were beautiful it would be hard to miss something so spectacular

I woke up with a slight pain in my stomach and when I looked down to examine myself there were two puncture wounds almost like snake bites i wanted to freak out so badly, I wanted too scream, shout, cry,
I didn't understand what had happened to me

but something ... a voice as people would call it spoke into my ear that it was for my protection and that he could hear me when in danger

When I heard the voice I instantly bolted towards my door it was all too real to be in my mind I felt the hot breath on my ear for goodness sake I twisted my door knob only to be locked in quickly reacting

I ran to the window but it wouldn't budge either

and that my friend is when I began to panic, I ran to my phone only for it to have died (awesome yeah I know) I looked around my room for any source of the voice I heard but I only could think of one thing when I saw no one in my closet or behind my bathroom curtain

SPIRITS WERE IN MY HOME

then I started to feel like my airway had been blocked gasping for air I started to get hot really fast, falling to the floor I sat trying to intake as much air as possible then something so warm and comforting like a pair of gloves in the winter, touched my back sending warmth throughout my entire being and I instantly calmed down

The spirit voice came back and whispered "calm down I am not here to harm you in any way, but be cautious because some just might be here to do just that, tell no one of the wings or the eyes, your closest friends might be your enemies and your most hated enemy might turn into your friend" the voice was silky smooth yet it held seriousness

And then the hot breath that fanned my ear disappeared

I stood up not understanding what to do, I was mentally and physically drained and confused,

I left the house walking wherever my feet would take me and from there I ended up in front of the cafe that Oculus had dropped me off at to meet my parents

I wonder what he's doing now, how was....

I quickly shook away my thought, why in the 'hello' am I thinking about him, I entered the cafe and just sat down

Soon a waiter approached me and asked if I wanted to order anything, I politely told him no and he scrunched his face in distaste and sounded like he whispered a "broke people these days" and then proceeded telling me since I wasn't ordering anything I had to leave because other customers needed seats

The place was literally empty except for me and 2 couples and a guy... hold up ..well excuse me let me rephrase that a sexy guy who'd just walked in

"Do you know ignorance is a handicap sir" I rolled my eyes and stared him in his face

He proceeded to say he was only getting a table ready for more customers

I stood up even though I was shorter than him "what fucking customers dude I am literally like the only person here" I don't know why I was so agitated but I was really getting aggravated with this prick

"Ms. You must..." he was stopped mid - sentence as a deep bass filled voice filled the cafe

"Leave the lady be" I looked over to see the sexy hunk with two cups of coffee in his hand

"Sorry sir but this woman is taking up seats she must leave" the waiter stood his ground

Compared to the well built man with the two coffee cups and the pencil of a man standing in front of me the waiter had balls for not just walking away

but he wouldn't have any for long if he keeps fucking with me

"She has an order right here" he held up one of the coffee cups that the lady behind the counter had whipped up

He walked over to me and handed me a cup that and told me to sit down

The waiters face was now red with anger he looked between the two of us and walke...excuse me ..he stormed off

"Thanks" I said looking at the man smiling

He held out his hand for me to shake and I gladly took it "the names kayden"

I smiled at him "Scarlett Brown"

I put the coffee to my lips and took a sip and my face instantly scrunched up at the dull taste that hit my tongue

Kayden began laughing which sent goosebumps over my body

"Why'd ya give me water" I made a disgusted face

He smiled and shrugged "it was only a dollar honestly" he scrunched his face as if contemplating something and mumbled "I could've gotten chips at the dollar store with that dollar" he mumbled low but not low enough for me to not hear he looked back up and smiled at me "but the man was really bugging about not ordering, I also thought you were cute though and maybe we could hang some time"he began walking off but not before looking over his shoulder

"My numbers on the cup by the way"

I smiled at him as he exited the cafe and looked on the side of the cup and sure enough there his name was

then I felt as if a pair of eyes were watching me making me shiver

I looked around to see the waiter man eyeing me down like a hawk

I licked my tongue out at him and turned towards my water only to day dream about those wings and eyes again
