Lucifers mark shone bright in between the part where my shoulder and neck connect

The books I'd read on vampire and werewolf mates lied the marking hurt like a bitch there was no pleasure in that damn bite but after the removing of Lucifers fangs I felt like I was on cloud nine I felt full..i wouldn't describe it as pleasurable but more like content

But there was still a question I was dying to ask which led me to where I am now

I was standing in front of Constallents door I heard the shuffling of footsteps and what sounded like a females voice and a 'whooshing' sound before I heard him unlocking his door

"Oh um hey Scar" his voice was breathless making me scrunch my eyebrows

"Hey C, can I come in for a minute I want to talk with you"

"Um yeah sure" he opened the door wider allowing me access to the inside of his room

I noticed the sheets were all over the place and the blanket was strewn on the floor

I sat on a chair in the corner of the room and huffed "C, I'm going to get straight to the point with this okay"

He nodded his eyebrows raised in question

"You and Annabelle I want to know the history between you two"

Instantly at the sound of her name Constallents face grew stone cold his eyes trained on me but his anger not directed towards me..at least not all of it was

"That's not something I'd like to disclose at the moment" his voice was as cold as ice lacking any emotion

" come on C you have always been a good friend to me and I can see it bothers you a lot holding it in won't help and running away will only make it worse" I tried to reason

" you are dismissed"

He walked towards the door and opened it waiting for me to make my exit

Feeling bad I stood and walked towards the door murmuring a 'sorry,

"Congratulations on your mark" without giving me a chance to reply the door was slammed behind me

I made my way down the corridors before I felt a sharp pain in my head

"Scarlett someone's trying to get into our  head you need to call out to Lucifer say his name in your head while imagining him" Phoenix sounded panicked and that scared me

'LUCIFER I need you now someone's try..."

Everything went dark around me before I lifted my eyes to an open field but not any open field

I looked down at the familiar dead field filled with ashes from what used to be beautiful grass and flowers

"I hope you made you decision Scarlett, the time has arrived" a melodic voice whispered near my ear but I knew better than to awe at the snake behind me but before I could turn around to deliver a single blow a 'whoosh' sounded and I was back in Lucifers corridors

Lucifer stood over me his face filled with anger fangs were starting to extend and protrude over his lip

Well..That's a new feature

I felt beads of sweat fall down my face as I hurriedly stood on wobbly legs I looked up at Lucifer eyes filled with fear

"the angels are coming"

As soon as I said the words a huge boom sounded throughout the castle then came a strong melodic voice that sounded oddly familiar

"Brother we will only say this once" the angels voice rung out strong and stern "give us your chosen and we shall leave peacefully..don't... and you will let this war rage out and blood spill upon these grounds"

"You dare threaten me in my lands where you have come without my permission" Lucifer growled his voice growing gruff he let out a humorless deadly laugh "You'd  have to kill me before you could even dream of touching her Lethandrol" Lucifer growled out his voice didn't have to be loud in order to emit dominance his tone and the sternness behind it would make any man cower

But sadly these weren't just ordinary men ...they were angels

And I was their target

Hi guys I have had a TONN of homework I thought maybe the teachers would sympathize with us Seniors especially with everything that's goin on

But that is not the case with them and right now I can say I HATE ONLINE WORK IT IS SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT

but anyways I couldn't write much being that I still have hecka homework to do even though it's already 2:00am

Hopefully I can update this weekend if I get done in time
