"No she isnt'!" I say indignantly, turning around and pushing him away from me. "Don't say —"

"I'm serious, Elide," Lorcan says, taking my hands back in his. "I scented it on her." Suddenly he grins at me. "I was wondering, maybe you should be too."

I see the hunger in his eyes, and I observe what's twitching in his lower regions, that same hunger alights in me, too.

"Oh really?" I say. I twine my hands around his neck seductively, arching my body against his. His hands come to my waist as he watches me intensely. "Don't you think you should ask me first?"

"I just did, didn't I?" Lorcan asks, his voice a low growl. His want for me is oh-so-obvious. I smirk at him.

"Well," I say, as if considering. I trace one hand over his lips. "I suppose we do need an heir."

It's all the permission Lorcan needs. With a little shriek from me, he scoops me into his arms and carries me into the side chamber attached to this room. He kicks the door to the room closed, all the privacy we need.

His lips crush into mine, and I pull his head down closer to mine as lays me down on a sofa at the wall of the room. Our hungry lips are still together, tongues intertwined as my shirt comes off, quickly followed by Lorcan's. Our bodies grind together as we tangle, our hands roving familiar paths over each other.

We break away, neither of us wanting too, but pur need for oxygen overrides our need for each other. I'm suddenly unsure, and Lorcan sensing it, pauses, concern on his face. "Is everything alright?"

"Are you sure we should be doing this?" I ask breathlessly as I behold him.

"Not if you don't want to," he says, but I'm too distracted by him - his beautiful body.

"I've changed my mind," I say, the words barely out of my mouth before we're together again, our clothes on the floor. I whisper onto Lorcan's mouth, needing to say the words, "I love you."

His wordless reply is all I need.
