Cheerful Friend

My eyes began to delight when I saw it

But I’m afraid and scream a bit

When it touched me and rolled in the floor

Run and play with me in tug-of-war…

I saw it while it is getting big

From a cute little puppy it began to dig

So my mom ties it in its house

So it became sad and helpless like a mouse…

Now my Chu-Chu is cold, wretch and dead

It’s because of poison an awful neighbor set

My friend dies in its bed

I feel sad but I know it’s free from neighbor’s wicked threat…
