Trinity Sutton
Christmas Day

"Look at us...like two Santa Claus's," Siren smiled at me and I rolled my eyes playfully letting a smile dangle on my face as we pulled the gifts out of my old car.

It was Christmas day and this was sort of a tradition for us since being back in California.

We usually spent our Christmas together, alone, watching Home Alones and The Grinch a million times while sipping on Hot Chocolate with our few gifts to each other.

I did this thing since I was 18 and was able to live on my own and make my own money where I'd give myself a budget and buy gifts for the foster home I grew up in. Back then it wasn't much, last year I was able to gift each kid with at least three presents but thanks to The Spartans and the Christmas bonus the staff received this year, each kid was able to get five at the most.

With us knowing how it felt to not have something on the holidays like regular kids, I wanted them to at least forward to something.

I didn't know how the foster home was doing with The Spartans foundation. All I did know was that they did attend a game but that was the last I heard. Eli told me there was so many kids in the foundation prior to them so the team tries to organize it as best as possible so every kid gets to see a game but it sucks mine are last because of how late they was added.

"If you needed a hand, you could've just said so." Shawn walked out with a smile and I returned it, stretching my arm out for a hug, he returned it before grabbing the bag from my other hand. "Now you know you didn't have to buy gifts for the kids,"

"They're kids who never had a real Christmas, I rather them have something instead of nothing."

"That's sweet of you." He smiled as I grabbed the last bag before we all headed into the home. "The game starts at 4, shouldn't you be on your way there?"

"I got to be there at 1 so I got some time with you guys."

"She wanna be Wonder Woman today. You know you can't stop her, Shawn." Siren commented and I sucked my teeth as we placed the gifts down by the Christmas Tree.

"I see her more than I see you. You graduated high school and dipped,"

"I barely see her myself," I jumped in as Siren placed her hands on her hips and glared at us both.

"It's Christmas and y'all jumping me for what? Jesus wouldn't like that," She answered and I shook my head while letting out a deep breath.

It was 11 AM and I indeed had to be at the stadium at 1 PM exactly but these kids came first and I already had this set for me to do since November. Even if the game was scheduled as an away game, I still would've made time.

"And besides...Trinity sleeping with a player on the team." Oh, this bitch.

Shawn snapped his head towards with a light smile on his face. "Oh really? You love them football players. So which one is it?"

"Let me rephrase, she's not sleeping with him, they're together."

"Well, that's even better."

"It's Cains. Not that big of a deal," I shrugged and went back to setting the gifts underneath the tree wanting to change the subject. Like I stated way back when, Shawn accepted me in his foster home when I was 14. So he and Siren was the only ones I had meaning when everything went down Anthony and me, we ran straight back to Cali with him and he sort of helped me out.
