Earlier, in a hotel near the Asam Hospital, minji received news that taehyung had actually commanded a bunch of helicopters and bodyguards to go rescue jungkook.

It seemed like jungkook was in serious trouble.

She wasn’t worried about jungkook dying. If he actually died, the Jeon family would end up in her elder brother’s hands. That was also a good thing.

Instead, she was angered that taehyung actually commanded this much power in the Jeon family. To think that he would be able to move these many subordinates.

Taehyung had left the hospital and minji felt that this was her opportunity.

Thus, she put on some make-up and changed into a nurse’s uniform which she had prepared. She put on a hat and a mask before heading for the Asam Hospital’s doctor’s office.

Hmph, so what if the security was especially tight?

Once she hypnotised the doctor, she would be able to take hyunsoo's life.

Besides, there was no need for her to take action personally.

There was also hyuntae. Although he was unconscious, he remained a time bomb. If hyuntae awoke one day, her status as the fake successor to the Kang Group would be exposed.

There was no harm in eliminating both of them at one go.

She would remove hyuntae at the same time.

minji was an especially careful person. She would not set her heart at ease until hyunsoo and hyuntae were both dead.

Thus, she hypnotised the doctor and followed after him while pretending to be a nurse.

They first visited the intensive care unit. She watched personally as the doctor injected hyunsoo with a medicine that would put him to eternal rest. After that, they visited the VIP ward. Doctor  injected hyuntae with the same medicine.

After this series of events, minji was finally able to set her heart at ease.

Taehyung thought himself capable of being her opponent. As if!

Right now, no one in this world knew that minji was not the Kang family’s actual successor.

In a few hours, when hyunsoo's death was discovered, the Kang family’s business would be hers!

At the thought of this, minji smiled in greed.

She returned to the hospital and began to wait anxiously for news that hyunsoo had passed away.

At 8:00a.m. the next morning, she still did not receive any news from the hospital.

Minji could not sit still any longer and began to pace back and forth in her hospital room.

She dialed jinyeong's number and spoke in a tone of concern. “Grandfather, have you had breakfast?”

“I just ate. I’m strolling in the old mansion’s yard.” jinyeong sounded a little suspicious. “minji, you don’t usually call me at this time. What happened?”

“My grandfather is in intensive unit care and I’m really worried about him. It also made me realize that I haven’t taken good care of you in the past few years. Minji cannot help but feel guilty.”

“Is that all? As long as you remain obedient, you’ll still be able to lead a good life in the Jeon family.”

The Elder seemed to be hinting at something. Could he have discovered something? Minji's expression turned heavy. However, her tone remained light and flattering. “Grandfather, don’t worry. This grand daughter of yours will never cause trouble for you.”
