"Miss Murdock and Mr. Chandler, is there something you would like to share with the class?" The teacher shot us stern looks.

Beau turned his gaze from me and smirked at the teacher, "not particularly."

My eyes widened and I shot Beau a warning glance. He looked away smugly, crossing his arms over his chest. Stupid arrogant alpha. Annoyed that he hadn't answered me, I sent him a mind message.

What are you doing? I thought toward him.

Uh oh, did Mr. Big-and-mighty screw up? Xavier joined in from his History class.

I'm his alpha—he can't tell me what to do, Beau thought smugly.

I knew this was about that whole alpha thing. I sense a little couples feud coming on... rawr, Xavier chuckled internally.

We're at school now! The other kids don't know that you're his alpha, I scolded.

Well the other kids can go screw themselves and die in a ho-, Beau started.

Don't end that sentence, I warned.

Aren't you two the cutest? Xavier gushed.

I'm close to smacking you, I shot at Xavier.

She has a really sore slap, Beau warned him.

Sounds like you learned the hard way, Xavier mused.

I did. It was not pleasant, but that night made up for it. The se-, Beau was shifting into "guy mode" with Xavier.

What did I tell you about talking to other people about our sex life?" I growled at my mate.

I sifted through Beau's current thoughts and grumbled. They were filled with images from last night—the dark blue pair, a lacy red bra, then me laying underneath him. The fact that any other wolf in the pack could see those images right now filled me with dread. Stupid perv of a mate.

Sexy, one of the unmated pack males couldn't control his thoughts.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my mate stiffen in his seat. His muscles were tense and his jaw was clenched. God, his wolf was way too possessive—that's what I get for having an alpha as my mate.

"Mr. Chandler, where are you going?" The teacher frowned at Beau.

"Bathroom," my mate said curtly, exiting the room—his muscles were rippling.

I have a feeling that your clothes will be off within five minutes, Xavier thought to me, seeing the situation through my eyes.

Why would you think that? I wondered.

I saw the teacher stiffen, then as if he were being controlled, he started to speak. His voice was calm but his eyes were hard—Beau had better not be using his alpha power to control our teacher.

"Miss Murdock, you are excused for the rest of the day," he choked out.

Raising my eyebrows, I shoved my textbooks inside my bag and strut out of class. All eyes were on me, and they were all filled with jealousy. I ran my fingers through my hair and walked through the deserted halls.

I'm outside the entrance, Beau said through the mate bond.

I can't believe you.

I have no clue what you're talking about.

That's called alpha power abuse.

It's called using my resources wisely.

I rolled my eyes and stepped out of the school. Beau was standing near the end of the stairs, his posture taut and rigid. Oh crap. He turned when he heard my footsteps and I gulped—I could see his wolf through his eyes. This was not good. My wolf was sending me warning messages, telling me that unless I wanted any of the humans to see a huge, two-ton ass of a wolf on top of a white wolf half the size of it mating outside their school, I should run. So I did.
