Sorry. You don't have to read this, but I just felt like this was the place to relay this.

So I was just watching The Big Bang Theory, and I'm sure most of you know that Wil Wheaton guest appears on occasion. Well, in this particular episode, Sheldon was upset bc Leonard was going to Wil's party, and he basically said (and I remember the last part not so much how he started it) something like "you want to go to a party hosted by the guy from Stand By Me that no one remembers," and my stepmom and I bust out laughing.

I found it funny bc Gordie was kinda the main character, if you think about it. But then again, the friend that convinced to me watch Stand By Me didn't remember any if the characters' names or any of the actors. I was talking about River Phoenix, and he was like "who's that?" And I looked at him and said "Chris! From Stand By Me" an when that didn't really compute I continued with "the kid with the white shirt and blonde hair!" All he had to say was that I had "really gotten into it." Smh.

That's all. I just really needed to tell people that would get it. Both stories. M'kay.
