= Chapter 19 =
Casper’s POV
I still feel guilty, but follow him into the house.
His parents rush to greet us, enveloping us in a hug.
“Ryker sweety, we need to ask you something.”
“Yeah?”
“We’re going away for a few days for our wedding anniversary.”
“Oh my word, I forgot!”
“No worries son.”
“Okay…”
“What we’re trying to say is that we don’t want to leave you alone. If you want us to we can stay.”
“No no it’s fine go.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
“Okay on one condition, you stay with Casper’s family.”
“Yeah sure,” we say together and smile, we seem just like Brad and Chad right now.
His parents look worried and relieved at the same time, “Okay well we have to go see you soon Ryker!”
His mom and dad kiss and hug him, then hug me too.
“Bye Casper, take care of our Ryky.”
“Yes ma’am.”
They leave.
Ryker’s POV
They leave me with Casper.
“You okay?” He asks.
“Course,” I smile, but really I’m terrified.
I’ve been preparing this for a little while, but now… I’m nervous as hell.
“So…” I trail off.
“What?”
“Um… tell me more about you not being a virgin,” I say.
“Okay… If you want I mean. I used to be in a relationship with Brad’s cousin, he was way sweet and gentle and one day we were just kissing and he grabbed my hand and led me to his room and well you know… That’s how Brad and I met, his cousin moved and he was my shoulder to cry on.
“Oh okay, that’s fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, it’s in the past.”
“Thanks for understanding,” I whisper and he kisses my cheek.
“I’ll make some dinner for us and then I have a surprise for you.”
“Ooh! What is it tell me! Please,” I burst out but he just laughs.

A while later we’re snuggled up on the couch after eating an amazing meal.
Of toast and scrambled eggs.
I laugh at my thoughts.
“What?”
“Hm?”
“What are you laughing about?”
I blush guiltily, “Nothing.”
“All righty then,” He smiles and heads upstairs, I try to follow, but he sets a hand on my chest.
“Stay,” he says softly.
“Okay.”
I smile, he’s going to get me my surprise I think.
