As we sat down at the table, I felt awkward. "Do you mind if I try and get to know you?" I started to ask why but instead I answered "Sure..."
"20 questions?" I asked,trying to sound funny.
Apparently he bought the humor because he chuckled and said "sure. You first..." I smiled some,trying to think of something to ask him. "Um..favorite book?"
He chuckles. "I don't read much."
"Ooh. Homework should be fun for you then.." I say sassily.
I'm still finding it weird that he wants to talk to me and no one else.
"What do you do in your free time?"
I tried to think of a lie to tell him but instead I said: " I sit in my bedroom...and dream about being something more.."
