It had been three weeks since I shifted back to my parent's mansion.

But I hardly came out of room. I didn't have interest to eat, sleep, read or even talk to anyone.

I would just lie on the bed trying to catch some sleep even after sleeping for straight twelve hours. I would just spend time with my Snuffy which made me feel better.

Someone knocked the door.

"Come in." I screamed.

I saw my mom walking inside my room with a bowl of soup.

"Thanks Mom. Keep it there." I said.

"Have it now. I will take the bowl back while I leave." she said and sat on my bed.

I knew her trick! She knew I won't have if she wasn't sitting beside me.

I don't know why I was making them suffer.

I started having the soup.

She made my favorite sweet corn soup.

"CBI had called today morning." she said.

I stopped the spoon in my hand right in front of my mouth.

"They could have called me. Why did they bother you?" I said irritatingly.

"Your phone was switched off." she replied.

"What is it this time mom?" I asked her.

I was tired of drama in my life.

"They asked you to visit their office." she said.

"Not again Mom." I said.

"You have to. If you want I can accompany you." she said.

"Mom, you and dad are so busy." I said. But deep down I wanted them to come along with me.

"It's okay. Nothing is more important to us than you. All this, is for you. We live for you." she said.

I hugged her and cried again.

"Stop crying! You have a world to rule out there." she said with a huge smile.

I know what she meant. She wanted me to join their businesses.

"I will Mom." I said giving her an assuring smile.

I didn't want to go back. I am sure Vance will use all his power to ruin me again.

Then I have to run back to mom and dad just like how I did now.

"I will sleep now Mom. I am tired." I said.

"Sure. Goodnight honey!" she said and kissed my forehead.

I am so thankful to them.

I slept again.

I was driving my car. My mom and dad were sitting in the back seats.

I drove fast as the road was empty.

I took them to the place which I had in my mind for quite some time.

I took out the keys from my pant pocket and gave it to my Mom.

"This is for you Mom. You love beach side houses right." I said.

"We already have so many houses honey! Why would you buy one more?" she asked me.

"It's my gift to both of you." I said.

My dad came forward and hugged me.

"We didn't know when our little daughter grew up in such a short span of time." he said.

"She always makes me proud!" my mom said and joined the hug.

I felt like sunrays were making their way into my eyes.

It was a dream. Such a beautiful dream!

I really have to make them proud!

I am Ana. Ana Rose Thomas. And one day, my name would become a brand.

With that self-motivation, I woke up.

I went for a jog and then did some workouts in the gym at our home.

It felt like I was letting go those negative vibes!
