TWENTY SEVEN - BEFORE US

" Miuccia Prada, just asked if I could be a model for her brand here in Paris. And she wanted Luna to be a designer on her next project....."

Za'Niyah whispered happily......" what do you mean?" I asked and looked over at her, the dimming lights made Za'Niyahs eyes light up

" I'm saying that she wants me to model for her! Here in Paris, I'll probably wait until graduation..." she said excited," so you're moving to Paris?" I asked and fuzzed my brown brows together

She shook her head while smiling," no not now I think? Why?" She asked and leaned forward, she looked at me like she was waiting for an answer

I shook my head and laughed," nothing, I'm happy for you guys!" I said and hugged her

Brandon seemed a bit off but I shrugged it off, for the rest of the night we had fun. We went into another room and there was a DJ and he played the best tracks ever

We danced and laughed," I HAVE TO PEE!" I shouted to Luna and she nodded,"SHOULD I COME WITH?" She asked and I just shook my head," NO ITS FINE!" I said and walked my way to the exit

While I walked to the bathroom I saw daisy, she looked like she was crying

" you're okay?" I asked and she looked up at me, she had this growling face," does it look like I'm okay?" She asked and walked past me, I sighed and turned around

" daisy!" I shouted and she turned around, I sniffed and tucked a hair strand behind my ear," why do you hate me so much?" I asked and she just scoffed and rolled her eyes," YOU took everything from me, BEFORE YOU, I had everything. A boyfriend, a best friend and I was popular!" She said and laughed at the end and slammed her hand on her side

I took a deep breath," I DIDNT MEAN TO OAKY!" I shouted," I saw this cute guy in the store, he was cocky and I played with it," I admitted," I'm sorry daisy! Okay!?" I shouted while some tears fell down

" it doesn't help anything! He's in love with you!" She said and went to a wall and slides down, I went over to her," no he's not, I know....he cheated on lunas friend with you," I said and sat down next to her

She looked over at me and chuckled," don't you see it? It doesn't matter if you don't believe it or not, he's in love with you. He hasn't been like this with his previous girlfriends...." daisy said

She still had a pool of water in her eyes

" daisy, he lied to me. He cheated on that girl, I asked him to tell the truth if you and he had been together before and he said no," I said and placed my hands and forearms

Daisy just chuckled," Brandon Evans, actually want you and you're going to reject him?" She said and huffed at the end, I looked up at the ceiling

" I also know that you almost killed me," I said and looked at her, daisy froze

" yeah I'm still kinda paranoid that it's going to happen again, but I'll have to get better," I said and laughed, she looked over at me," Za'Niyah I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have done that to you. I was jealous—and I know that it doesn't justify what I have done," daisy said

"Daisy, I don't need your apologies. I'm doing better," I said and sighted

We just sat there quietly

After a bit, I took a deep breath and smiled," are we okay now?" I asked she looked at me and nodded," yeah, we're good," daisy said and smiled

I stood up and walked to the bathroom

I looked around and saw that Za'Niyah wasn't back, I walked over to Devon. I touched her shoulder

She looked behind herself and saw me," hi Luna!" She shouted over the loud pop music," HAVE YOU SEEN ZA?" I asked while I yelled which hurt my throat, Devon shook her head so her hair waved around

I sighed. Maybe she's just out somewhere having fun, besides I'm not her mother

I went over to the group and danced with them, a popular song came on and all the girls began screaming," IF YOU WANNA BE MY LOVER..."
They all shouted, and here I thought back to the moment Za'Niyah and I had in our hotel room

I sighed and ran out of the room, I walked my way to the toilet and I saw her walking inside. I looked at the floor which daisy sat," you good?" I asked even though I didn't like her, she looked sad," yeah, everything's better now," she said and smiled up at me

I fuzzed my brows together but shook my head, I walked into the elegant restroom." Za'Niyah?" I questioned and I heard a small voice

I walked to a stall and saw a pair of white heels," you in there?" I asked with the concern I'm my voice," yeah, I'm having a good time," she joked and laughed a bit, I opened the door and she sat on the toilet seat, but she wasn't peeing or doing anything actually

" I just wanted a break from the party, you should go back. You guys deserved this party," Za'Niyah said and gave me a smile, I shook my head," it's fine, it was getting a bit boring," I said and crunched down

"You're okay?" I asked and she shook her head and a tear fell down her cheek," no," her voice was shaking and she looked down to her lap where her tears fell down," Bran—Brandon loves me," Za'Niyah said, and laughed but it wasn't the usual funny laugh

"Isn't it a good thing?" I asked and she shook her head again," no it's not, I'm going to break his heart at the end of the week, he's going to hate me," Za'Niyah said and leaned back

I took a hold of her tiny hands," Za'Niyah, it's his own fault that he's losing you. He lied, you told him to say the truth and he lied..." I said trying to make her feel a bit better," I know I know," she said and chuckled through the tears

I stood up and so did Za'Niyah, she walked to the mirror and looked at herself, " I ruined your work," she said and looked at me," it's fine really, the night is almost over," I said trying to take some of the pressure of off her shoulders," but hey! We got that sweet deal! With Prada!" I said and Za'Niyah smiled and laughed," yeah what was that all about?! Like me a model?" She asked like she didn't have the best fashion sense

I rolled my brown eyes at her," you have the body for a model Za'Niyah," I said with a sweet voice, and Za'Niyah scoffed me off," yeah right!——I think I'm going to bed," she said out of the blue, I nodded," I think I'm gonna sleep too, it's getting late," I said and followed Za'Niyah out the door

when we got out daisy was gone

Luna and I walked up to the shared room, I sat down on my bed and took off my white heels. I groaned," I'm so sick of pretending!" I said loudly while I flopped to my bed, Luna looked at me," yeah but there are only three days left——what are you even going to say to him?" Luna asked and I stood up and crossed my legs

"Uhm maybe something like asked for the truth and you still lied to my face?' I don't know really, it'll probably come as we go on," I said and walked over to my bag and took out some wet-wipes and began taking off my makeup

" I'm so dead," I groaned while I looked at myself in the mirror," Nah you just need sleep," Luna said and nodded

I took off my dress and went straight into the covers of my bed, Luna shut the lights off
