NINETEEN - BEFORE US

It's been hours and I'm still in my room laying on my back, I heard small things that hit my window. I scrunched my face and walked to my Window, I looked down and saw the person I least wanted to talk to right now

I opened the window only for a small rock to hit my forehead," ouch!" I said and gave him a death glare," sorry!" I whisper yelled," what are you doing here?!" I whisper yelled," c-can I get up?" He asked

His voice cracked and it broke something in my heart," yeah whatever, umm my mom is downstairs and uhhh my brother...." I said and scratched the back of my head, " whatever, I love to meet the family," he said and smiled,I rolled my eyes and smiled," take the latter in the barn," I said and he nodded

I hurried over the the barn to get the latter, I opened the door and the first thing to the right was a latter," not burglary friendly," I said and took it

I walked over the the window and began climbing, I heard a void coming from Za'Niyah's room," Dont Brandon," she said and closed the curtains

I heard her brother talking about Ophelia and him," Za'Niyah I'm a grown guy, I can handle it," zain said," yeah you can probably but lia can't! She's sensitive and as the player, as the sport and relationships you guys don't match, she's Ophelia the sweet cute Spanish girl that loves everybody but can get Andy if anyone cross her over, but you're: let-me-hit-that-one-time-then-dip guy," Za'Niyah said

I threw my eyebrows together trying to figure out what's happing but then it hit me,

" she's seventeen and you in your twenty one!"

After this they began speaking in another language i this is French? They talked fast but then I heard the door open the closing," can I get in now?" I whispered

Za'Niyah opened the curtains, I climbed up and then into the room, I've been here before but it has changed a bit

" what happened between us?" He asked and looked at me, I sighted and shook my head " Brandon.... it's just the drama that comes with you is a lot, and I can't with it. My head is so overwhelmed, like I don't know who almost killed me and the police doesn't care because I'm black," I said and sighted

He shook his head," why are people like this!" He said and stood up," shhhhhh! Brandon, my mom is downstairs!" I whispered yelled at him, he looked at me with polygenic eyes

" everything alright Za?!" My mother yelled from the living room," yeah! Everything is okay!" I said and looked at Brandon

" can I stay her for tonight?" He asked and looked me in the eye, and I couldn't say no," uh okay, I don't have a extra mattress so uhh. Just stay on your part of the bed," I said and pointed at the right side

" thank you Za'Niyah,"  I said and looked at her, when I said her name her eyebrows fuzzed together but it quickly went away," ohhh...I wanted to tell you where the bathroom is but you already know," she said and dryly laughed

She became a bit awkward after her own comment," Yeahh, I'm going to change..." I said and went into her own bathroom

When I walked in I took out a pair of gray sweatpants, I took my shirt off—" oh and Brandon-"

" oh and Brandon-" I looked up and saw that his shirt was over his face," uhm need anything?" He asked and took the rest of his shirt off," uh no, I just wanted to tell you that we have to get up early tomorrow,because my mom comes in early to say bye," I said and looked at the ground," okay, do you have an alarm clock?"

He asked and took his bent off, I took a sharp breath," ohhh uhm j-yeah uh-" I said and nodded

He chuckled," I have to take my pants off,so if you wanna see-" " no thanks," I said and walked straight out of the room

Ohhh he's gon get it know, i quick walked to my closet and took out a dark green tank top on and a pair of gray sweatpants on. I took my bra off and laid in my bed, I took out a random book on my bedside table

The door opens and of course he didn't have a shirt on," uhm this is a Christian household, take a damn shirt on," I joked, he rolled his eyes and chuckled, " you can't say anything about Christianity," he said and walks over to me," Dont..." I said and looked at him with serious eyes

" don't what?" He said and smirked, he jumped on my bed and began to tickle me,

" no no no! Brandon stop I'm going to pee myself!" I yelled and instantly regretted it," go! Into the closet!" I whisper yelled he ran into the closet and one second later my brother and mother walked into my room

" what's happening Za'Niyah?" They asked," oh nothing I was ways movie and this it Brandon: whose really stupid did something and....yeah," I said and looked at my closed tv

They looked at it too and raised a brow," I just shut it off, there was a cliffhanger," I lied

" just be so up late," my mother said and walked out," zain?" I asked and looked at him

" I know someone is in here," he said and walked out, i quick walked to the door and locked it," pew that was close," I said and opened the closet door

Brandon took her bye the hips," Za'Niyah.." he said and looked at her, she looked down," that's not my name," she said and looked at him, he chuckled and shook his head "cutie...." he said and leaned forward

"Lover boy....." Za'Niyah said and took her hand to his cheek
