TEN-BEFORE US

It's been a few days since I got into the hospital, the school doesn't care about that I almost died so they aren't doing an investigation about it. I got signed out of the hospital so now I'm on bed rest and thankfully in my own room, Devon has been over a lot just checking in on how I'm feeling and stuff

But the weird thing is that Brandon has been avoiding me, I asked Devon if she could say to him that I'm thankful for him saving me again but she told me that he didn't say anything, like anything

I've tried calling him but he doesn't take it, I feel like I did something wrong but I haven't.....right?

I laid on my bed and listening to my radio,some weird songs were on I rolled my eyes at the song and turned it off

I Laid on my back and looked at my poster covered Celling I really missed it....

A knock on my door took me out of my poster gaze," yeah?" I asked and looked at the door
It opened and it was Devon," wussup homie!" She said and fell into my bed," hi," I said" what's wrong," she asked and laid beside me, I shook my head" nothing," I said and tried to cover up my feelings but it didn't work," no, tell me," she said and stood up," it's just..." I said and wiped a tear away," urghh!" I said and sniffed

" I just thought that Brandon and I had something, but he's been avoiding me. I just wished that I wasn't on bed rest so I could talk to him," I said and wiped another tear," he's not worth it, if he's avoiding you he's stupid, your the most awesome person a person can meet. You joyful, funny, beautiful and everything a guy want. If HE can't see that then fuck him," she said and walked over to my desk and sat down on my chair

I sighted and sat up," I really like him, like really really like him. And I thought he liked me too," I said and took my hood from my hoodie on," I know how hard it it's... but just let him go," she said and turned around in the chair," but I don't what to let him go," I did and played with with the strings on my hoodie

I laid on my bed and looked at the boring Ceiling, I would give anything to be in Za'Niyah's room right now

I don't know if she meant to do it but she turned her head and I kissed her, I would do anything for to do it once more. Even though she was in the hospital she still smell like strawberry and vanilla

I haven't heard from her in a while the only thing I know is that she's on bed rest at home, I tried to talk to Devon but she told me off and said I should 'forget about her'

I don't know what I did for Devon to hate me like she does, but I'll try to make it better

" BRANDON GO OPEN THE DOOR!!" I heard my dad yell I rolled my eyes and stood up from the bed, I walked down the hallway and then down the stairs

When I was finally in the living room I walked over to the front door and opened it, and it was the gang," what are y'all doing here?" I asked and looked at them," bro? Com'on, you've been like depressed ever since what happened to Za," Eliot said" I'm not depressed, I'm just mad and-you know what? I don't need to tell you guys. So please leave," I said and tried to close the door but Eliot placed his foot at the door so I couldn't close it

" WHAT?!" I asked and looked at him," we can hang at Sam's?" Daisy asked and smiled, I didn't buy it. She's been acting really sweet and all lately

" fine," I sighed and took my slippers on and went out to the car," so how's it going?" They asked and looked at me," fine?" I said and looked at then weirdly," what are you guys doing," I said and lifted a brow,"nothing..."Freddie said and smiled

I rolled my eyes," oh here you go!" Quinn said and gave me Isobel," Wh-you took her!?" I said and looked at her with big eyes, she looked down and smiled," I'm sorry we needed-" she stopped talking when Freddie hit her shoulder," OW!!" She yelled and touched her shoulder,"I'm sorry," Freddie said

We pulled up to a house

Not just a House but Za'Niyah's house," what are we doing here?!" I asked," I asked the same question," daisy mumbled and crossed her arms

" go inside," Freddie said," no! She probably hates me!" I said and looked at him," no she doesn't! Get inside and take bel with you," El said, I unbuckled and took bell with me

I walked up the front stairs and rang on the doorbell, I looked behind myself and saw them all in the car smiling at me, well not all of them daisy had a unbothered look on her face

It caught my attention that the door was open and that a woman at the front door stood there," hi," I Said awkwardly, stupid I'm so fucking stupid," hi? Who are you?" She asked and looked at me and then at the doll," oh your Brandon? Right?" She asked," oh yeah that's me, uhm I forgot the bag to Isobel's. Things," I lied

" oh yeah I can give you it," she said," no no! It'd fine I can go get it!" I said and walked a little inside," ohhh okay, do you know what where her room is?" She asked," uhm yeah, I worked on a project with Za'Niyah last week here," I said and gave her my charming smile," well okay," she said and chuckled, she opened the door a bit more so I could walk in

I walked in and took my slippers off and walked up the stairs to her room

I knocked on her door and bit after a small' she come in'  came, I walked in and saw her laying in her bed with her eyes closed,"Devon I swear! If you coming in here with another tampon I'm dying! I don't use those. And could you give me bag of gummies?" She said

" uhm I'm not devon but I could give you those gummies if you wanna," I said

" WHAA!" I said and almost jumped up from my bed," nigga don't play games," I said and placed my hands on my chest, he walked over to me and handed me Isobel," what?!" I said while laughing

" yeah, I thought if I got you bel you would be as mad as you are now," he said and sat on my bed

" I got you you're gummies!" Devon said and walked into the room, she looked at me and then at Brandon," what's he doing here?" She asked and folded her arms," Isobel," he said and pointed at bel," oh..." she said and looked at Isobel

"uhm thanks Brandon for bel, and see you on Monday," I said a bit awkward because I think that Brandon and Devon has a problem with each other," yeah I'll uh go," he said and pointed at the door with his thumb, he smiled and walked out

" why were you so mean!?" I said and threw a pillow at her," because he ignores you for week and then suddenly he pops up, he ain't it," she said and sat on my desk chair," I'm asking him about it on Monday," I said," I don't think it's a good idea, you should probably distance yourself from him for a while," she said, why should I do that?

" why?" I asked and fuzzed my eyebrows together," I don't like him, and I looks like you don't care about my feelings," she said and looked down," Von I do care about you, bro I love you. I just really like Brandon and I want to get to know him better," I said and smiled

" yeah sure," she said and sighted," von,don't," I said and folded my arms," yeah yeah whatever, I'm going home," she said and stood up," seriously?!" I asked and dryly laughed," yeah," she said and placed the gummy bears on the desk and walked out the door

I fell into my bed and sighed," what..the..
