chapter 32

the next few weeks everything was going fine.
miley was coming to terms with her pregnancy. she was super excited
noah was being super sweet.
and the only people who knew about the pregnancy was alice,john,elle,and lee.

miley was going to her sixth doctors appointment so they could just check on the baby's health.

normally alice went with them but she couldn't today.

so it was just miley and noah.
they finally got into the doctors office and waited for the doctor to come in the room

"i was thinking about names. if it's a girl i like the name hailey but for a boy i like the name ayden"
she said.
noah- i like those a lot actually
she smiled and then the doctor walked in the room.
"hello guys"
they both said hi.
she shut the door and started the appointment.
she started up the ultrasound.
she was moving the thing around miley's stomach.

she very quickly noticed there was something wrong.
she didn't make a big deal because she didn't want to scare miley or noah.
she had another doctor come in.
they realized the baby no longer had a heartbeat and it had passed away.

(the doctors name was dr. smith)

"miley and noah,we regret to inform you but your baby has passed away"

miley looked at her and then at noah
"i'm really sorry"
the doctor said.
"i'll give you guys a minute"
the doctor left.
as soon as she left the room the tears just started spewing out of miley's eyes. a few even shedded from noah's.

he wrapped his arms around her.
they both cried.
"this isn't happening"
"i know i'm sorry"
he said.
she looked at him
"noah,it's okay if you cry,you don't always have to be so strong for me"
he looked at her and shut his eyes.
then opened them
"i can't even believe this."
she said.
he hugged her
"i know baby"
they both cried.
then the doctor walked back in.
she said her condolences to them.
miley-do you know how this even happened
dr.smith-well we see this a lot in teen moms who are really young. normally your body can't handle such a big change because you just went through puberty a few years ago. your body just isn't mature enough.
miley dropped a few more tears
noah thanked the doctor for all her help and he walked miley out.

on the way home the drive was pretty quiet.
neither of them had anything to say. they were just so heartbroken.
yeah miley was young but this was till her first child.

when they give back home they saw alice,lee and,elle sitting in the kitchen talking.

they walked towards them.
the three of them immediately could tell something was wrong.
noah had clearly been crying and so has miley
"honey what's wrong"
alice asked miley.
miley looked down and couldn't even speak.
so noah did it for her.
his voice was shaky and you could tell he was fighting back tears.
"the baby passed"
he said.
everyone's faces dropped.
elle immediately hugged miley.
alice hugged noah and he cried.
"i'm so sorry guys"
she hugged miley.

a few hours later-

noah and miley were in his room.
neither of them had left.
they were both heartbroken.
but at least they hadn't told anyone at school.
they slept in his room that night and neither of them went to school the next day.

everyone at school was wondering where they were and they all asked elle and lee.

elle and lee just said they didn't know. even though they did.
