"Naomi, are you okay?" liv whispered against the door as she heard the sniffles from the other side. It broke her heart witnessing Seb hit her and now she locked herself away again.

"I'm fine" Naomi sighed, trying to make herself sound strong

"No you're not, and it's okay not to be" Liv reassured

"Liv please just let me be by myself, I'll come to you when I'm ready" Naomi asked

"Okay, but I've got you an ice pack" Liv explained

Naomi debated on ignoring her but she could feel her eye beginning to swell and it hurt. She didn't want to come out with a black eye. Slowly she creaked her door open, just enough for Liv to pass through the ice wrapped in a kitchen towel

"Thank you" Naomi whispered

"You're welcome, and please come to me whenever no matter the time, okay" Liv comforted

Naomi nodded and shut her door again. She didn't want her to see her break. She just wanted to be alone.

Alone, that's what she felt. Alone, empty, lonely. Despite the people just behind her bedroom door, she'd never felt so low.

So isolated,

He, she remembered. He - who she just witnessed being dragged out of her flat amongst the shouts and threats, all she saw was emptiness in his eyes. Coldness. Not the boy she once liked. Someone completely different.

Someone who just made her whole life feel meaningless. "I'm sorry" she whispered to no one as she crawle back into bed, clutching her stomach as shd wept into her pillow. "I'm sorry" she repeated in a low sob

As Naomi closed her door, Liv saw Charlie and Drew stood behind her. She didn't even notice them. Everything was just too chaotic for her to process. The three of them stood outside Naomi's door worried.

"What do we do?" Charlie whispered, hoping Naomi wouldn't hear

"Flat meeting next door, right now." Liv whispered, as she knocked on Harriet's door.

Harriet came out in her pyjamas, yawning. She could sleep through just about anything. Liv didn't even give her time to ask what was going on before she pulled her out of the flat along with the boys.

The four of them knocked on 157's door, waiting for someone to answer. Tiana, who's room was closest to the door answered with a confusion plastered on her face.

"What's going on?" She asked, as she moved out of the way for everyone to come in

"FLAT MEETING IN THE KITCHEN RIGHT NOW" Liv shouted, for everyone to hear

Elliot and Eliza heard Liv and came out of their rooms and made their way to the kitchen. All of them were there, besides Jessica, Naomi and Theo.

"Okay what's going on?" Elliot asked

"We need to talk" Liv stated

"Is this about next years living arrangements?" Elliot asked

"Oh shit, we forgot about that, but no, it's something else" Liv said

"So you called a flat meeting, but where's Naomi?" Eliza asked

"It's about Naomi" Drew added

"She needs our help" Charlie revealed

"Okay, this sounds serious, what's happened?" Harriet asked

"I literally haven't seen her in ages, what's going on?" Elliot interrupted

"Her and Seb broke up-" Liv explained

"Is that it? She's broken-hearted" Elliot mocked

"Shut the fuck up Elliot and let Liv finish" Drew shouted, making everyone realise this was no joking matter

"Thanks, but yeah... her and Seb broke up and then he hit her right infront of us" Liv explained

"Wait, what?" Tiana questioned

"Did you just say that fucking bastard hit her?" Elliot confirmed

"Yes" Liv breathed out, trying to forget hearing the connection between Seb's fist and Naomi's face

"I swear I'm going to actually-" Elliot started

"Okay no. We'll deal with Seb later, but right now we all need to be there for Naomi. She may want to be left alone but we need her to know she can talk to anyone of us at any time, agreed?" Liv asked, watching everyone nod in response

"Wait where's Theo?" Charlie asked

"He's at football training, I would text him but this isn't something you say over the phone" Elliot said

"True, I'll tell him tomorrow since I was there" Liv reasoned

The group sat in silence, basking in the reality of what had just happened. Naomi, a girl they saw as a friend and a sister and sometimes even, just to piss her off, a mother, was hit by a boy they all thought was so good for her. A boy who they never would of expected to do something so disgusting as that.
