Tahimik na pinagmasdan ni Trigger ang asawa na masayang nakikipag-usap sa mga magulang nito.
"I'm glad you decided to visit me, mom and dad," Miracle said excitedly.
Olivia flashed a sweet smile. "Of course, my daughter. Bakit naman hindi ko bibisitahin ang mahal kong anak?"
Trigger rolled his eyes in annoyance. The guts of this fucking woman to enter their house and spit lies.
Mariin niyang tinitigan ang lalaki sa tabi nito. Benedict seems to be aware that he doesn't feel so good about seeing them.
Hindi naman talaga welcome ang dalawang 'to sa pamamahay nilang mag-asawa. If not because of Miracle, he won't give a damn about their existence. He won't talk to them. But he has to be in good terms with them, for Miracle.
"I brought a gift for you, sweet heart. These are little canvas you can use for practice. Alam kong hindi mo pa naaalala kung gaano ka kagaling noon. But you can use these to spend some time painting. Baka paunti-unting bumalik ang talento mo," Benedict said as he present his gift.
Agad namang tinanggap ni Miracle ang regalo ng ama bago ngumiti nang matamis. "Thank you, daddy! You're the best!"
Nakangiting hinawakan ni Olivia ang kamay ng babae. "You can also paint my portrait and your dad's portrait--"
Trigger chuckled unbelievably. "She can't do that."
Takang nilingon siya ng tatlo. Even Miracle held his hand. "Bakit, Trigger?"
He smiled at his wife before kissing her cheek. "I don't want you to force yourself. Hindi mo pa kayang gawin 'yon dahil baka mabigla ka," he said.
She immediately nod her head before flashing a smile. "Okay." Hinarap muli nito ang mga magulang. "I'll start practicing, mom and dad. Para kapag gumaling na po ako, gagawan ko po kayo ng portrait."
Trigger rolled his eyes when the couple smiled sweetly.
Kailan ba lalayas 'tong mga 'to? He whispered inside his mind.
"I'm really looking forward about that, my daughter. Sigurado akong magiging maganda 'yon dahil ikaw ang gagawa," Olivia said while giggling.
Trigger quickly faked a cough. Hinawakan niya ang baywang ng asawa at nginitian ito. "You need to say goodbye to them. They have some business stuffs to do."
Gusto pa sanang umangal ng mag-asawa pero mabilis na sinamaan ng tingin ng lalaki ang mga ito. They shut their mouths because of his death glares.
Malungkot na ngumiti si Miracle sa mag-asawa. "Mag-iingat po kayo, mom and dad."
Humalik ang asawa niya sa mga magulang nito na parang ayaw pa ring umalis. Trigger has no choice but to step forward and gestured the door.
"I'll accompany you outside," he said coldly.
Namutla agad ang mukha ng mag-asawa nang marinig ang sinabi niya. Pero kalauna'y tumango na lang din ang mga ito.
He faced his wife before kissing her forehead. "Ihahatid ko lang sila sa labas. You can stay here, baby."
Miracle nodded her head as she waved her hand to say goodbye to her parents.
Trigger followed the couple all through the way out from his house. He gestured the guards to close the gate behind them.
Agad niyang hinarap ang mag-asawa.
"As far as I know, I never told you to come here," malamig niyang saad.
It was Benedict who answered him. "Trigger, I just want to see my daughter."
He let out a dangerous laugh. His jaw tightened with Benedict's answer.
"Hindi porke't kinausap ko kayo tungkol sa asawa ko, magiging komportable na kayo. Saan n'yo ba nahugot ang kakapalan ng mga mukha ninyo?" matigas niyang tanong.
Napayuko ang mag-asawa.
"Ijo, gusto lang d-din naman naming makabawi kay Miracle. We're desperate to have her trust again. Sana naman maintindihan mo kami," Olivia explained.
"Remove all the words you used aside from desperate. Yes, that's what you guys are. Desperate shits to enter my wife's life again."
Benedict shook his head. "You don't understand us, Trigger. Higit sa lahat, kami ang mas may karapatan kaysa sa 'yo dahil anak namin si Miracle," daing nito.
Trigger's face darkened with his answer. Agad na lumukob ang galit sa buong katawan niya.
"You have the guts to answer me back, Benedict? Have you lost your mind?" He stepped forward with his burning eyes. Agad namang napayuko ang mag-asawa sa takot.
"I wonder where did you get the nerve to talk back to me. Hindi pa rin ba sapat sa inyo ang ginawa ko noon? Does being inside a jail for two years not enough? You want me to add more years?" He chuckled dangerously.
Nilapit niya ang mukha sa mga ito. "Tandaan ninyo kung sino kayo at sino ako. In this game, I am your fucking master and you guys are my servants. Kung sinong may kapangyarihan dito, ako 'yon. So don't use that reason to me. Kahit magulang pa kayo ng asawa ko, wala akong pakealam."
"Ijo, please--"
"I let you live because of my plans. I bailed you outside the jail because of that deal. Ni isang beses hindi ko kayo binigyan ng karapatan na kuwestyunin lahat ng desisyon ko."
He smirked devilishly before patting Benedict's shoulder. "I'm sure you can still remember our deal."
The man nodded his head obediently.
Trigger once again flashed a dangerous smirk. "I bailed you outside the jail to build your company again and make it as strong as mine. I bailed you outside that fucking railings for you to do a good job and build a strong empire and give it to Miracle after. Alam ninyo kung bakit ko kayo hinayaang mabuhay."
Mabilis na yumuko ang mag-asawa sa kaniya na agad niyang ikangisi.
"Now go, and never beg for my help again. Hindi ko rin kayo hahayaang mapalapit sa asawa ko," he added.
The couple quickly got in the car. Pinagmasdan na lang ni Trigger ang kotse ng dalawa papaalis sa bahay nilang mag-asawa.
He clenched his jaw while watching them. No matter how hard he's trying to stay calm and not kill those two, nahihirapan pa rin siyang pigilan ang sarili. But for Miracle, he'll do his fucking best to stop himself from doing something that she might not like.
