it's 19:00 (7:00 pm) and the stream with kenma was about to start soon. you were fiddling with all your equipment, trying to get the best angles and mic quality. Puffin was curled up on the keyboard and creating clicking noises.
then the sound of the front door slamming open sounds and things began to be dropped on the floor. you quickly exit the room and lock the door behind you. hoping he wouldn't destroy your expensive gear out of rage.
You don't want akito to know about your internet career. he would assume it's the worst and believe you were posting inappropriate videos with other guys. your family also looked down on you and said it "wasn't a real job".
"welcome back baby,". he shuffles over to you while you fiddled with your fingers behind your back, "did you go drinking with your coworkers,"?

"she's new," is all he says as he pops open a beer and plops down on the sofa. you simply nod, "well I'm going to get on a work call ok?". "yeah." he waves his fingers nonchalant at you as his eyes are glued to the tv.
you then shuffle back into the room and lock the door behind. you let out a large breath that had made your chest feel heavy, "jeez.".
your computer was pinging, causing puffin to turn his head at your computer. "cm'ere baby," you whisper and pick up the limp cat. you sit in the cushiony seat and accept the call.
"I'm streaming," he says.
"ok! let me start up my stream!".
