"you're so slow!" I pester kenma who is lazily walking behind me. "you went shopping with yachi the other day. why do you need to shop again?". I rolled my eyes at his complaints, "I'm purging all the clothes that remind me of Akito so I'm going to need better clothes to replace!!".
He just stared at me, "it must be a girl thing,".
I nod and continue to walk in front of him, "it is!". my steps lead me one in front of the other. I don't bother to look back at kenma because I know he is lurking behind me.
"do you want to get lunch?".
"sure."
we found a cute, small restaurant on the corner of the small town we were shopping through. our table was next to the large window at the front of the building. "so," He began. the large menu was held up in front of his face so I couldn't see him. he never finished his sentence but stayed quiet.
"go on?" I say.
"Is this our first date?" he drew his menu closer to his face. I stifled a laugh, "if you want it to be,".
he never seemed like the cute, shy type. he always seemed to be awkward shy and liked to keep to himself. It's refreshing to see different sides of him.
"ok. then it is,".
the two of us ate and then continued to go shopping. being with kenma felt like I was living a new life. I even forget the reason we didn't start dating in the first place.
"Why aren't we dating again?".
"you didn't want to rush our relationship," he said while the bunch of bangs he was carrying all mushed together. "oh yeah. is it still too fast, do you think?". he shook his head before turning to look at me, "no,".
"Then..." it was too embarrassing to ask him to date me. I'm not confrontational like that. the problem was, neither was kenma. "what," he didn't even seem to pick up the clues.
"oh my- let's do it!".
"do what?".
"you're so annoying. let's date! be my boyfriend?".
he shrugged his shoulders before dropping the bags to the floor, "only if you'll be my girlfriend,". "I don't know. it sounds like a lot of work," I smiled brightly before wrapping my arms around him tightly.
he never liked hugs but he gently wrapped his hands around my waist. my fave became flushed so I hid it in his shoulder blade.
"Does that mean I can have your money now?".

authors note that's it! sorry, it felt so rushed but I honestly had no idea what else to write! I feel like it's a terrible ending LOL but if it's requested I'll do extras where they are dating or whatevs!
