Imagine...

You're sitting in a private park in the cover of some trees on a windy, busy day in the town of New York City. You were looking at your watch, the wind blowing your hair across your face. The clock had just struck twelve... ten minutes ago. He was running late, but that was to be expected. You just hoped he was coming.

You peek out from the tree you were sitting behind, at just the right moment, too. He was across the street, impatient on his feet as he waited for the city traffic to slow. He looked up to see you waiting and smiled but didn't wave to make sure no one would see.

You waved your hand towards you, beckoning him to run across. The traffic had finally slowed a bit but hadn't come to a complete stop. He took a deep breathe before running across, dodging cars here and there.

You stood up to retreat deeper into the cover of the trees as he made it across. He followed you, and as soon as the two of you were completely hidden, he pressed his lips to yours, cupping your face in his hands. You smiled against his mouth, passionately returning the kiss.

"I'm so sorry." He apologized, pulling away once only to come back with several pecks. "The guys wouldn't stop goofing off, and I just couldn't get out of there."

You rolled your eyes, placing your hands on his and looking him in the eyes. "Michael, it's fine. I understand. I'm just glad you're here." He gave you that beautiful smile you loved so much, eyes sparkling, and then delivered another kiss.

"How'd you get out anyway? I was sure they wouldn't let you leave without asking questions this time. Did you just up and leave?" You asked, extremely curious. Michael had been coming up with excuse after excuse to leave the guys for a few hours to come meet you. They hadn't been asking questions, but they had to start eventually.

He looked down, running his hand through his red hair. "Uh..." He hesitated, a little gigglish. "Yeah, something like that."

"Alright!" Ashton exclaimed, throwing himself down on the couch. "Recording time, done! Time to relax."

Calum followed, sitting in one of the chairs and propping his feet up on the coffee table. His phone was already in his hand, which could only mean he was tweeting about the recording session.

"How many times are you gonna tweet about our new album?" Luke asked, sitting on the arm of the couch next to Ashton's head. "Clearly more than you." Calum teased, sticking his tongue out at Luke.

Luke chuckled, pulling the pillow out from under Ashton's head and throwing it at Calum. "Hey!" Ashton protested which just ended in giggling. "I'm gonna get some food. I'm starving." Luke stated, heading towards the kitchen.

The whole time Michael was staying quiet, sitting in a recliner. Until now. He immediately stood up, yelling, "EMERGENCY!" before running out of the room, leaving Luke, Calum, and Ashton looking confused. Michael had been acting strange lately, so this wasn't the first time he had done something like that. They hadn't talked to him about it, figuring it was best that he come to them first. They just shrugged it off, continuing on with their business.

You giggled, lightly shoving him as the two of you sat next to each other. "What!" He exclaimed innocently. "You're a dork." You told him.

"Hey, don't judge, I couldn't come up with a good excuse."

"Not judging!" You held up your hands in defense before wrapping them around Michael's waist and strecthing your neck up to kiss him.

The two of you sat there for a few minutes in silence, your arms around his waist and his around your shoulders, just enjoying your time together. Something was on your mind, and you just had to get it off your chest. "Do you think we should tell them?"

"What?" Michael asked, surprised that you would ask that. You didn't blame him though. You were surprised yourself.

"The guys. Do you think we should tell them, you know, about us?" You clarified nervously. You honestly liked what you and Michael had, even though it was all a big secret, but that's what made it special. The only problem was that his bandmates had to be getting suspicious, and you didn't want him to have to lie to them anymore.

"Is that what you want?" He asked, leaning back to face you.

"I don't know..." You sighed, resting your head against his chest. "I just don't want to ruin your friendship with them because of some dumb secret."

He placed his hand under your chin, lifting your face to his once again. "(Y/N), you are not just some dumb secret. I don't regret any of this one bit." For what seemed like the millionth time in those few short minutes, you kissed.

It was nice and peaceful, just the two of you sitting hidden in a private park on a beautiful day.

Out of nowhere, you heard a group of people running down the street, shouting something about Michael and his band. The two of you looked at each other in confusion before Michael decided to get up and see what it was about.

He came back quickly, grabbing your hand and pulling you up. "Come on, we have to go."

"Why, what is it?" You asked as a dragged you deeper into the cover of the trees.

"Paparazzi. I have no idea how they found me." It felt like it had been ages since you were just sitting down, that's how long you ran. You weren't even sure if you were in the park anymore because all you saw were dozens and dozens of trees.

Michael finally stopped, still holding your hand. You went to speak, but he shushed you, listening to see if they were still coming. Everything was quiet. All you could hear were the birds chirping and the leaves rustling in the wind. Michael sighed, pulling you off of the path you had been running down.

"God, that was close." He breathed, pulling you into a hug. You hugged him tight, as if you would never have a moment like this again. "Babe, what's wrong?" He asked, feeling your tight grip.

You looked up at him, eyes wide but shining. "We're completely alone." He smiled, pushing your hair out of your face. "Yeah, we are."

"How long before the guys get worried, do you think?"

"No idea." He replied seductively.

"In that case..." You jumped into his arms, wrapping your legs around his waist, your lips meeting. He laughed, backing up into a tree and sliding onto the ground.

"You sure you're okay with keeping a secret this big?" You asked, pausing your kisses for a moment. Michael grinned, his hands on your bare skin, rubbing up and down your back causing a warm tingling sensation to spread. "Babe, you're my dirty little secret. And you're definitely worth keeping."
