It was 12:00am already but i couldn't sleep, in the dim light i was keep seeing this medicine sehra brought and it recalls me past incident when i had came south africa before

2 years before, i was so excited because i had been choosen to volunteer in china but after 2 days my duty changed to south africa because at that time diseases were rapidly spreading and they had shortage of doctors, when i arrived here people were dying and hospitals were fulls, somehow our team managed to save many people and from them i saved a guy who was same age as me his name was maaz and we became good friends,one day he told me he know something which people don't know, i asked him what? He told me to keep it secret

'you know why this diseases is spreading?' he asked me suspiciously

I whispered'why? '

' i have seen some gang mans and i heard them, it is some drug they have been mixing in the store's foods which people buy and made from that dishes '

I shocked to hear that

'are you serious?'

He nodded positively
'then we should go to police common fast' i took his hand but he stopped me

'police are also involved'
'i saw them with my own eyes' he said while addressing his eyes

'it is not light matter, we can't do anything but pray' he said and i sat there shockingly, how can people be so cruel to their own people?
I thought many ideas to do something but i alone couldn't do anything and after some days i had to returned back.

Maaz is the one who helped to get this house on rent and helped me to prepared bbq for first day we came here.

i didn't have idea that just how my friendship with maaz still growing till today, their plan is also growing.

I sighed,
only if had done something at that time i thought regretting.

now first i have to examined this medicine then i would also know the cure of it..

Sleep was far away from me so without wasting my time i came out my room because abdul sami was sleeping beside me

'ahem Assalamu Alaikum buddy'

'وعلیکم السلام everything alright?'

'ah yes are you free' i asked?

'i am just returning home from my job, say?' he replied

'do you know any lab near who is open now?' i asked

'emmm' he paused thinking and i wated hopingly

'Karasu lab, it is 24 open for doctors'

' glad to hear, can you send me address?' i asked then i remembered i don't have any car

'emm if it will not trouble you can drop me there?' i asked

'obviously bro, but you are alone?'

I nodded, dumb he can't see you

'actually this matter is confidential i need to test something i can't say on the phone meet me' i said slowly

'ok bro i am coming in 5 minutes Allaah hafiz'

'Allaah hafiz' and i hung up

While we we were on the way i filled maaz with every details, he surprised to hear and told me be careful then We arrived at the test lab i filled the procedures i felt thankful that because of maaz has good connection with them, they let me test, i tested the medicine by myself as i couldn't let anyone to know about it after that i waited for result.

It was 3:30am, the results were out
I checked the papers and couldn't more surprised.

'what happened what it says?' maaz asked me

And i looked at him as my fear came true

'it is drug not medicine,they used it because they want to hypnotized the people' s brains but the kids body's couldn't bear them and the red marks they have is infection of this drug'

'ohh my Allaah' he shocked

'No wonder the marks weren't going' i whispered

I ran my hands thorough my hairs

'this is bad, so bad!'

'if they are overdosed kids can even die' i said looking at maaz

He came and side hugged me

'relax we will figure out something, trust Allaah'

His last words gave my heart peace and solace

There is higher power than everything is watching over us, Ya Allaah Help us.

I nodded 'if the police is still involved then we should plan carefully, if they have any idea you know then they can blame you Abdullaah and doctors'

'are you serious?' i spat angrily

'they are the one at fault not our team' i replied

'i know, but you don't know the bad police my boy, they use their power in wrong way, innocent? He asked looking at me
' They didn't care about anything!' he replied

Then I remembered about maaz' s life
His family wasn't good stage of financially and health too were bad, he lost his parents due to diseases which were rapidly spreading 2 years before, he goes to police that he knows some gang is behind this, but they didn't listen him and worse is that they locked him up in jail and told him to forget what he seen and heard or else they will blame on him,he couldn't do anything so for his one brother and sister he is trying to work hard and living normal life hoping in Allaah,his faith didn't became weak but with the hardships Allaah brought Maaz more closer to Allaah.

'don't worry if they have police with them then we have Allaah with us' i told him bravely and he smiled back
'indeed Alhamdulillah ' he replied

And like that we returned home for good sleep till fajr
