It was early in the morning in Professor Palladium's class, too early in my opinion and yet a lot of people say that you concentrate best when it's morning.

Bullshit.

But yet I was really interested in today's class for some reason, while I was listening, Stella was doing her nails and Tecna was on her laptop.

"We're going to try and open this lock with an elventien incantation." Professor Palladium informed while gesturing to the rather large lock on his desk. "Now, when using one of the nine ancient languages of Magix, pronunciation is critical. This spell is pronounced; Ectpandlo Hellion. The 'ect' is important." He then eyed the class one for one before glancing at me. "[Name], would you like to give it a whirl?"

"Alright." I nodded as I stood up, heading to the front of the class and slightly excited to perform this spell. "Expandlo Hellion.

I concentrated on the lock in front of me while chanting the spell and I couldn't help but smile when I heard a 'click', indicating that I was succesful in managing to unlock the lock with the spell I casted.

"Very good." Professor Palladium praised as I sat back down on my seat, by my desk. "Now watch when I change one syllable." He instructed and we all - Well not all - waited in anticipation for what would happen next. "Expandlo Hellion." Professor Palladium was suddenly surrounded by kittens while playing with one of them with his wand making us laugh and now catch the attention of everyone but one. "Now, the leaf like symbol that appeared in the air is called rural."

I glanced at Flora who was sitting on my left, seeing the dazed look on her face while drawing in her notebook and soon exchanged glances with Layla who sat in front of me and also noticed Flora not paying attention which was rather unusual since she normally does.

"Would you like to try pronouncing the spell Miss Flora?" Professor Palladium asked, breaking Flora out of her dreamworld.

Flora stood up, accidentally pushing her seat back rather harshly. "Uh.. Of course Professor!"

"Excellent." Palladium smiled and started drawing the leaf. "Now here's the rural."

"Uh, okay." Flora nodded and took a deep breath. "Expandlo Helia!" The kittens grew bigger, squashing the professor to the ground and I couldn't take it anymore and burst into fits of laughter, my classmates soon joining in as Flora's face flushed red.

"Whoops.."

...

"Cut it out [Name], Layla." Flora giggled as her face flushed while Layla and I teased her about what happened in class relentlessly while we walked through the corridors.
